Everybody has an opinion about truth. Culture has one. Social media has one. Your friends have one.
Don't just take someone else's word for it. Open Scripture for yourself. Know it well enough to recognize when the world is selling you a lie.
Message from 10.25.26
Always the Lord Jesus.
I look forward to seeing Him as victorious King. Heās still redeeming lost souls, one day at a time until all souls have heard His good news. When thatās accomplished, Heāll listen for the words:
āSon, go get Your bride!ā
Party time! š„³
Jesus loves you
As we draw closer and closer to Election Day, I'm noticing people become increasingly more possessed, like demons. Normally respectable people are losing their composure and their dignity because they can't handle the stress.
Jesus has the wheel, folks. Get comfortable with uncertainty. Trust me, you can handle whatever comes next. Just vote your principles, destroy commies til your last dying breath, and we'll see what happens. You're not in control, nobody has a magic bullet, and you can't tweet your way into Paradise.
You will adapt and overcome whatever happens. I promise.
In addition, companies donāt have the budgets to finance a rapidly growing compute scenario. Not at this rate.
#AI
Itās almost incomprehensible how wide the distance is between someone whoās working at the frontier with AI and basically everyone else right now.
The crazy thing is these lines are not converging, but only growing farther apart. If the curve of AI progress had leveled off, it would certainly have given most people and companies time to catch up or implement their workflows in a standardized way. The technology would have neutralized competitive advantage because everyone would be using it the same way.
But whatās happened is the opposite. The curve of AI progress is basically going vertical right now, which means if you had codified your processes 3-6 months ago youāre likely already behind again. Now imagine most companies that kicked into gear a year ago and thought that they were done. Even further behind now.
Iāve never seen a technology in my life and career that improves at this rate, which consequently means you need to upgrade your expectations at a similar rate. Our brains werenāt wired for this, and our organizational change management processes certainly werenāt either.
With any form of recursive self improvement, things just get wilder. Itās a time when you will need to be constantly reevaluating the things that didnāt work just a couple months ago to see if they now can be solved. AI native companies certainly have a strong advantage due to this right now, so now it comes down to can the bigger companies keep up. Wild times.

Good Morning! Some of you may wake up to the smell of rain, or maybe even the sound of thunder. Showers/storms have already fired up across central/northern AZ, and will continue to form throughout the day. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for our southern zones through tonight.

The call came from a landowner in Alpine. š¾ An elk was spotted with electrobraid and a T-post tangled in its antlers. Thanks to that landowner's call to the AZGFD Operation Game Thief Hotline, help arrived in the form of two wildlife managers: Officers Legend Watson and Kalyn Miller.
"Officer Miller was the first one there and was preparing drugs when I arrived," recalls Officer Watson. "The bull elk and approximately 20 cows were across a field bedded down under some pine trees right next to a house."
The two officers darted the bull elk and it laid down nearby. Officers and neighbors safely removed nearly 50 feet of electrobraid and the T-post, then officers administered reversals.
"Shortly after admitting the reversals, the bull got up and reunited with the herd of cows," Officer Watson said. "Several landowners gave their appreciation and loved seeing their neighborhood bull safe and tangle-free."
Well done, officers! š And remember, if you see a potential wildlife violation, you can call the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 800-352-0700.

Atheists sometimes tell me I have to choose between God and science.
I do not, and neither do you.
There is nothing anti-scientific about the idea that an all-powerful, transcendent super-intelligence created the universe and wrote its laws.
In fact, it's far more believable to me that this is the explanation for our lawful, intelligible universe than the story I was expected to believe as an atheist - that the universe "just is" or that it's somehow lawful and intelligible despite having no intelligence or will behind it.
But what about the big bang? Is that a problem for a Bible-believing Christian?
Not at all.
Leave aside the age issue - which is frankly the least explosive part of all this - and consider how modern science has caught up with the Genesis narrative in the last 100 years. Modern science has figured out that the universe isn't eternal, as people thought for thousands of years, but suddenly came into being a finite time ago just as Genesis 1:1 describes.
I do not have to give up God to believe that. In fact, as a scientist, it's the only way I can make sense of why the universe exists at all and is the way it is.
Don't let anyone tell you that you have to choose between God's two books - the Bible and his creation. They are wonderfully compatible.

Had a patient recently come see me with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer, at the young age of 37.
The majority of his treatment and surgeries were completed at MD Anderson in Houston, often ranked among the top Cancer hospitals in the world.
He sought me because his oncologist would not prescribe any ānon-traditionalā medications like ivermectin, Fenbendazole, or Mebendazole.
Before you jump to conclusions and start rambling about anti-parasitic, letās talk about how each of these works in the body.
Ivermectin works in cancer on WNT/TCF and PAK1āAkt/mTOR inhibition, mitochondrial respiratory suppression, chloride-driven hyperpolarization, and P2X4/P2X7-linked immunogenic cell death.
Fenbendazole works for cancer by impacting mitochondrial translocation of p53 and inhibition of glucose uptake, GLUT transporter expression, and hexokinase II, on top of moderate microtubule destabilization.
Mebendazole's main mechanisms regarding cancer are still β-tubulin binding, VEGFR2 inhibition, and Hedgehog inhibition. This in turn leads to reduced glutamine markers which have downstream effects.
[Notice I didnāt say anything about parasites there.
Feel free to show this tweet to someone who doesnāt know any better.]
The oncologist actually supported their use but likely due to āpoliticsā couldnāt personally prescribe them.
So instead of 1 doctor managing all of his cancer care, he has like 5.
Unfortunate but becoming increasingly common.
At the end of the care you have to be AN ADVOCATE for yourself.
If you donāt like the answers you are getting (in medicine), continue to seek out providers until you do.
