He’s going to be repudiated. This war is going to be repudiated at the polls… It seems certain, in fact, that the Republicans will lose control of the House and likely of the Senate… I think that’s very likely, and that will put Trump in an incredibly difficult position where nothing that he wants is going to get through the Congress. He will likely be impeached. He’ll be, in other words, under attack in the United States. He’ll also be a lame duck. He can’t run again, and he’s 80. So what is that? What does that leave him with? Well, leaves him with one set of powers: executive war powers. Under our Constitution, the Congress has to sign off on all wars, but that’s been dropped. We’re just ignoring that now…. It’s gotten worse, and both parties are in favor of war, of course, because they’re all neocons and they’re all getting richer from these wars. And they’re all like part of this strange death worship cult that has taken over my country. The public is not, but our leaders are. Anyway, the point is, Trump is going to be enmeshed in all kinds of political battles domestically after November 3rd, and I’m very worried, that his only outlet, the only way he’ll be able to express his authority, to affect power, do something, will be by accelerating the war in Iran, and we’re not in a position to do that. Our military is not capable. Our famous world’s greatest military can’t even keep the strait open. Any acceleration in this war will be a disaster for us.
