During Partition movement CPI fully supported Muslim league in its quest for Pakistan. That scum EMS Namboodiripad would later be elected as first Chief Minister of Kerala by Mallus. (He would also support China in 1962.)
Only people to oppose him were Christian churches and Hindu organizations like Nair service society which gave Nehru an excuse to dismiss his government during first tenure. Mallus elected him again none the less!
