I agree with @jimkwik here. Purpose isn't something you simply stumble upon. It grows from the things you're passionate about. When you pursue something you truly care about, you're more likely to find meaning in what you do.

Jim Kwik (@jimkwik ) is one of the world's top brain coaches. He has spent 30 years teaching elite performers how to learn faster, remember more, and focus deeper, from main-stage TED speakers to Hollywood actors, and wrote Limitless, the playbook for upgrading your brain. Most people will never get the chance to work with him. But they can talk to his Delphi. He hopes you'll skip the speed-reading questions and ask the one he cares about most: who are you becoming? delphi.ai/jimkwik
Imagine two people using AI every day for ten years. One becomes much better at thinking. The other can barely think without it. I’m already seeing hints of the second outcome: people producing results they can’t explain or defend. It feels like the beginning of Idiocracy. I asked @jimkwik how to avoid becoming that second person. He’s one of the leading experts in memory and accelerated learning, and has spent three decades coaching CEOs, elite athletes, Hollywood actors, and TED speakers on how to use their minds better. Jim shared the process he uses to keep himself thinking while using AI. It’s called BUILD: B - Brainstorm what you already know. U - Understand the real problem. I - Imagine three possible solutions. L - Leverage AI to expose your blind spots. D - Decide what to do. AI comes fourth. It has your thinking to challenge, and you still have to make the call. On this week’s episode of The Library of Minds, I spoke with Limitless Daily author Jim Kwik about why learning still matters when answers are instant. 0:48 - What Exceptional Minds Do Differently 3:03 - Digital Dementia Is Real 11:05 - CrossFit for Your Mind 21:13 - Raising Kids Who Do Hard Things 33:23 - The Illusion of Learning 43:26 - The Coming Meaning Crisis 52:01 - Do This Before Asking AI 57:24 - You Can't Outperform Your Self-Image 75:38 - Ask Jim Anything, Anytime Chat with his Delphi: delphi.ai/jimkwik

Unpopular opinion: AI is creating a generation of intellectually malnourished people. Not because AI is bad. Because too many people are using it to replace thinking instead of amplify thinking. The danger isn't artificial intelligence. It's artificial competence.

Jim Kwik (@jimkwik) is the founder of Kwik Learning and one of the world’s best-known teachers of memory, accelerated learning, and brain performance. For more than three decades, he has taught his methods to students at Harvard, Caltech, and Singularity University, as well as teams at Google, Virgin, Nike, and the United Nations. His book Limitless became a New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller, and Kwik Learning now serves students in 195 countries. Few educators have influenced how people approach memory, focus, and learning at that scale. Full episode: youtu.be/q_xEdDyfBxU

Convenience can quietly become dependence. On YAP, I sat down with brain and memory expert Jim Kwik (@jimkwik) to talk about digital dementia, digital deduction, and the cost of outsourcing memory and thinking to technology. Jim uses “digital dementia” for relying on technology to remember things, and “digital deduction” for relying on it to think for us. His warning is about what happens when the brain stops doing any of the work it can still do. His muscle analogy makes the point: an arm in a cast does not get stronger—it weakens and atrophies. What this means: use tools intentionally, but keep exercising memory, judgment, and attention. Let technology assist you but don’t let it replace every mental rep. Which task have you outsourced that you still want your brain to practice?

AI isn't going to replace people as much as it's going to reveal them. If you're not that sharp it's going to amplify that. But if you have real experience, wisdom, and frameworks it becomes the most powerful tool you've ever had. The question is which one are you?
