Just some facts. . .
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you America's Kings and Queens 👑
R: Chuck Grassley, 51 years
D: Ed Markey, 49 years
D: Ron Wyden, 45 years
D: Chuck Schumer, 45 years
R: Hal Rogers, 45 years
R: Chris Smith, 45 years
D: Steny Hoyer, 45 years
D: Dick Durbin, 43 years
D: Marcy Kaptur, 43 years
R: Mitch McConnell, 41 years
D: Nancy Pelosi, 39 years
D: Frank Pallone, ~37 years
D: Richard Neal, ~37 years
D: Rosa DeLauro, ~35 years
D: Maxine Waters, ~35 years
On the other hand,
R: Donald Trump, ~5 years as a politician and 50+ years in business.
In 2024, America elected Donald Trump to secure the border, deport those who are here illegally, strengthen our military, and reduce crime in our cities.
The people above have a combined 600 years of experience in fundraising, backroom deals, money laundering, dining with lobbyists, and insider trading, to name a few...
They all represent a very specific group of people; unfortunately, it's none of us on either side.
In fact, they have done everything in their power to take out President Trump and stop the agenda we elected him to complete!
If you listened to every one of them 20 years ago, they all stood for the exact opposite of what they are selling today.
Apparently, doing the right thing, whether you stay in power or not, runs out after you've had 12-15 years on the gravy train!
Congress was never meant to be a lifelong career. Yet today it's a nursing home for power-hungry narcissists who haven't represented the people who elected them for decades!
Now tell me again, who's the real threat to "democracy?"
While thousands are out protesting "No Kings" today, the real kings and queens have been ruling from Capitol Hill for decades. It's time to end these career politicians!
It's way past time for term limits!!!
We can and must do better than this! 🇺🇸

When I see Team USA freestyle skiers saying ICE does not represent them, my mind goes back to 2012.
Seventy-six of us - Papua New Guinean students - arrived in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Thousands of miles from home. Different weather, different culture, different everything.
That first night, during dinner, one of our own stood up and sang our national anthem.
Grown men and women cried.
Not because life was easy - but because we knew what it meant to represent your country far from home.
We were carrying our people, our families, our land with us - quietly, respectfully, proudly.
That’s why this hurts to watch.
These athletes live in the most developed country on Earth. They train in world-class facilities. They enjoy freedoms and protections most humans will never experience.
Yet when they step onto the global stage, they find it easy - almost fashionable - to trash the country that gave them everything.
Every nation has flaws. Every government has problems.
But the global stage is not the place to air domestic political grievances.
I remember @GavinNewsom at Davos. Same issue.
What happens at home should stay at home.
Abroad, the American brand should be unified - not fractured for applause.
Then there’s Billie Eilish - living in a mansion, private security, completely insulated from everyday reality - proudly chanting “ICE out.”
Let me offer perspective.
In America, you dial 911. Police, fire, ambulance show up - minutes, maybe hours.
In Papua New Guinea?
There is no 911.
In rural areas, there is often zero police presence.
Murderers, rapists, violent criminals live in the same communities as their victims.
If something happens, you either find a police station - or defend yourself. Sometimes you just say goodbye to your loved ones.
That’s not theory. That’s life for millions.
In America, you don’t even have to leave your house.
Food shows up. Packages show up. Transportation shows up.
You drive or walk to a polling booth. Ballot boxes arrive easily. Voter registration is accessible.
In PNG - a country that’s 80% rural - people carry ballot boxes on foot, climbing mountains, crossing rivers, just to vote.
Services don’t reach the people - but the ballot boxes do.
And still, people complain.
As much as Americans may struggle - your reality is the lifelong dream of millions who will never experience it. Not once. Not ever. Not even for a generation.
When you stand on the world stage, fly your flag with humility and pride.
Critique your country at home if you must - but don’t forget how rare, how privileged, how blessed your position truly is.
Some of us know what it means to represent a nation - because we come from places where survival isn’t guaranteed, and opportunity isn’t assumed.
And we still sing our anthem with tears in our eyes.
To conclude, as mentioned above, in PNG services rarely or if not ever reaches the rural populace but they consider it their civic duty to vote when the ballot boxes reaches them. Knowing full well that one day, their vote will help secure their children and grandchildren's futures.
What excuse do you have for sitting out the primaries and the midterms?

She said my dog looked “dangerous.” She asked why a German Shepherd like this was even allowed on a plane.
Ma’am, let me introduce you to Duke. That “threatening” animal spent six years deployed with Marine Special Operations. He’s a certified Multi-Purpose Canine. While most people run away from danger, Duke runs toward it.
🐾 His resume:
Tracking high-value targets.
Detecting explosives before they turn into funerals.
Shot twice in the line of duty.
That scar on his shoulder? Shrapnel from an IED in Helmand Province. Despite being wounded and bleeding, Duke located four more devices in that same area to keep his team safe.
The limp you’re staring at? He took multiple rounds during an ambush to save his handler. Because of him, a 22-year-old Marine got to go home to his daughter.
Duke has a Navy Commendation Medal. He has a Purple Heart. He is credited with saving over 40 American lives.
And the most important stat? Zero bite incidents. The only thing Duke has ever snapped at were threats trying to harm our troops.
So no, I won’t be moving seats. But you are more than welcome to lean over and thank him for his service.

My favorite Apollo memory as a child was when the live broadcast went from black and white to color 🤯
As a retired police officer this deeply saddens me. @minneapolispd, you are an agency of cowards.
🚨 @MinneapolisPD: “LEAVE THE AREA”
MPD told @nicksortor and I to LEAVE THE AREA after WE were attacked, followed, threatened, robbed, and Nick was nearly killed.
They indicated that there was a low probability the camera would be recovered despite providing a full plate.

🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: I went into the Minnesota Hilton who “apologized” for banning DHS agents, and EXPOSED them for CONTINUING to ban DHS agents
@HiltonHotels has decided they want the FULL BUDLIGHT treatment at this point.
Hilton’s operator, Everpeak, STRAIGHT UP LIED in their statement yesterday which said they were “in touch” with DHS to accommodate impacted agents, and “do not discriminate against any individuals or agencies.”
NONE of that was true. There was NO attempt to reach DHS agents to make it right, per Asst. DHS Sec. @TriciaOhio
Even the FRONT DESK manager said he had spoken with the owner shortly before I walked in around 10:50pm, and confirmed the ANTI-DHS POLICY REMAINED IN EFFECT.
REVOKE THEIR LICENSE, HILTON, OR IT’S GOING TO COST YOU DEARLY. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
This is an INCREDIBLY dumb battle to choose!

The neighbors call the cops on my dad every six months. They think he’s running a fighting ring or flipping pets for profit. For years, I wasn't sure they were wrong.
My father, Frank, is a man of few words and even fewer friends. He lives on a fixed income in a small, weathered house just outside of town. He’s 68, walks with a limp he got in ’71, and spends most of his day in his garage.
But his most controversial habit involves the local animal shelter.
Like clockwork, Dad brings home a dog. Not the cute puppies everyone wants. He picks the "unadoptables." The three-legged pit bulls, the senior labs with gray muzzles, the curs that cower in the corner. For six months, that dog lives like royalty. I’d visit and see Dad hand-feeding them steak scraps, walking them for hours, talking to them in a soft voice he never used with me.
Then, six months later? Gone.
The dog vanishes. No photos, no collar left behind. Just an empty bowl and Dad driving his rusted pickup truck to the shelter to get another one.
"Where’s Barnaby?" I asked last Sunday. Barnaby was a one-eyed Golden Retriever mix he’d had since spring. That dog worshipped the ground Dad walked on.
"Moved on," Dad grunted, staring at his coffee.
"Moved on? Did you sell him, Dad? The neighbors are talking. They say you’re sick."
"Let them talk."
I couldn't take it anymore. I loved Barnaby. The thought of my father selling that sweet soul to some stranger for a few hundred bucks made my stomach turn. So, when I saw him load a bag of high-grade kibble and a new leash into his truck the next morning, I followed him.
I expected him to drive to a breeder or a shady parking lot exchange. Instead, he drove two towns over to a drab apartment complex near the VA hospital.
He pulled up to a ground-floor unit. I watched from my car, phone ready to record evidence, as he knocked on the door.
A young man answered. He couldn't have been older than 25, but he looked 50. He was missing his right arm, and the way he stood—tense, scanning the perimeter—screamed PTSD. I recognized that look. I’d seen it in Dad’s old photos.
Dad didn't say a word. He just whistled.
From the passenger seat of Dad’s truck, a dog jumped out. It wasn't Barnaby. It was "Duke," a German Shepherd he’d had last year. Duke looked incredible. Focused. Calm. He trotted right up to the young man and sat by his left leg, leaning his weight against the boy’s thigh.
The young man crumpled. He fell to his knees, burying his face in Duke’s fur, sobbing. Duke didn't flinch. He just held his ground, anchoring the boy to reality.
Dad handed the young man a thick envelope. Not money—paperwork. Vaccination records. Training logs.
I got out of my car. "Dad?"
He jumped, looking more terrified than I’d ever seen him. He walked me away from the boy, lowering his voice.
"You weren't supposed to see this."
"You trained him," I realized. "You didn't get rid of them. You trained them."
Dad sighed, lighting a cigarette with shaking hands. "A fully trained PTSD service dog costs anywhere from fifteen to thirty thousand dollars. The insurance doesn't cover it. The VA has a waiting list a mile long. These boys... they come home, and they can't sleep, they can't go to the grocery store, they can't breathe."
He looked back at the young man, who was now smiling through tears, throwing a ball for Duke with his left hand.
"I can't give them money," Dad said, his voice cracking. "I don't have any. But I know dogs. And I have time."
"But why the secrecy? Why every six months?"
"Because that’s how long it takes to turn a scared shelter dog into a soldier’s lifeline," he said. "Basic obedience, task training, desensitization. I take the broken dogs nobody wants, and I turn them into the partners these kids need."
"And Barnaby?" I asked, my throat tight.
"Delivered him yesterday to a female marine in Ohio. She hadn't left her house in two years. She went to the park this morning."

I have a question for @SecVetAffairs. It appears that no one at the VA in Columbia, South Carolina, is familiar with the procedures for the Specially Adaptive Housing Grant. I am a left-leg amputee and have been eligible for this program since 2011. Over the past 14 months, I have been trying to access my benefits, but no one seems to know how to help. I live more than an hour and 15 minutes away from the hospital and have made over a dozen trips in search of assistance. Unfortunately, everyone I've spoken to—including my primary care manager (twice), rehabilitation staff, social workers, prosthetics department, VA business office (three times), patient advocate, physical therapy team, and welcome center—appears to be unaware of the necessary procedures. Why does the VA seem to neglect veterans rather than support us? I wonder if @VP Vance or @POTUS Trump can encourage the VA to fulfill its responsibilities and properly care for veterans.
