IT WENT FROM A SANDWICH ARGUMENT TO A PUNCH IN 60 SECONDS??
Who's more wrong here, the customer who swung or the employee who wouldn't stop?
A customer tries to pay for a sandwich with an EBT card at a Subway. The employee says they don't take it, tells him over and over to get out, mocks him, and follows him to the door. At the doorway the customer throws one punch, the employee goes over a counter, and the customer walks off.
Neither guy comes out of this looking good. The customer had no business swinging, no matter what was said to him. The employee had a chance to calm things down and kept pushing instead, including stepping right up in his face at the door. Once you follow someone out, you own part of what happens next.
As a dad, the lesson I want my boys to take is that you walk away from the one who's trying to bait you, even when you're mad and in the right. Call corporate, take the loss, and go home. One swing can cost you a job, a record, or worse.
The employee got back up on his feet, which is the one good thing in this clip.

🚨 BREAKING: Alabama prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for all eight people charged in the torture and execution of 20-year-old Mahogany Jackson in Birmingham.
Jackson was handcuffed, stripped, and subjected to hours of abuse that the suspects filmed. She texted family early on February 25 that she was being held hostage. Video later showed her being stomped on, spit on, dragged naked by her hair toward a car trunk, and forced to perform sex acts at gunpoint.
She was shot in the back of the head and her body dumped at a site known locally as “Dead Man’s Road.”
The eight indicted on capital murder, kidnapping, and sodomy: Giovonnie Clapp, Blair Green, Teja Lewis, Si’Niya McCall, Airana Robinson, Brandon Pope, Francis Harris, and Jeremiah McDowell.
Veteran investigators called it one of the most gruesome cases they’ve ever seen.
Prosecutors are moving forward with no mercy.
Death penalty for all of them.

A kid faked stealing money from his phone while he was stocking frozen pizzas, an hour after he should have been home putting his 4 kids to bed.
So he let them have it.
You want to cheer when a prankster finally gets put in his place, and you can’t, because what came out of that man is too real to enjoy.
This is what happens when a culture puts clout and viral moments above everything else: the humanity drains out of every human exchange, and every stranger with Meta glasses is a possible setup.
Hopefully his GoFundMe explodes and becomes a referendum on the pranksters, because the country is tired of them.

A U12 softball game. We've all seen the video.
Grown adults brawling.
And now a man is in the hospital with a skull fracture, and brain bleeds.
Oct. 24: Imperial Park, Sugar Land, TX.
Kiarious Hall allegedly swung a metal water bottle into a father's face.
The dad dropped, unconscious.
His lawyer says he has a fractured skull, a broken jaw, and 3 brain bleeds.
Hall allegedly swung the bottle again at a grandfather, Gary Greaser, who tried to break it up.
Hall's wife, Jazmine Hall, allegedly ran in, throwing punches.
Greaser needed 7 stitches, and suffered a broken hip.
The fight allegedly started because someone told Hall to stop cheering during the other team's at-bats.
Jazmine was an assistant principal at Lamar Junior High.
She has since resigned.
Hall claims self-defense. He said he was poked in the chest.
Police (and everyone who has seen the video) say the video doesn't show what he described.
He faces 2 misdemeanor assault counts.
She faces 1.
The victim's lawyer is pushing the DA to upgrade the charges.
A fractured skull and brain bleeds.
And it's a misdemeanor?
No. Upgrade the charges!
Then file the civil suits.

After forty years in front of the camera, I’ll be directing my first feature film, SO HELP ME GOD: a Civil War epic about a Union soldier named Albert Townsend, who should have received the Medal of Honor but didn’t.
Clerical error.
I learned of Albert through his descendants’ archival research. What I found was more than an injustice waiting to be corrected. It was a story of friendship and extraordinary courage: an unassuming young man becoming a soldier who held his ground, and his principles, under fire.
That’s a story worth telling on the largest possible scale. And we’re inviting the people who want to see it told to help bring it to the screen, as investors in the film through Republic.
We intend to do it justice: real cannons, one hundred horses, and the cast in period-accurate uniforms. We’ve brought on Mark Huffam, whose work includes Saving Private Ryan, Game of Thrones, and The Martian, to produce it. He knows what it takes to make an epic, and how much depends on the human story at its heart.
At the Medal of Honor Heritage Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I introduced the project alongside Civil War historian Brad Quinlin, members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and representatives of Civil War Roundtables. We’re also supporting the campaign for Albert’s posthumous Medal of Honor. His descendants are still fighting to see his courage properly recognized.
This picture is about friendship, love, and honor — and common people rising to accomplish extraordinary things. I want to give that story everything it deserves.
