NEW: I suggested last week that we should see the application for Susie Wiles' pen register and trap/trace by Jack Smith. I also said those applications were likely signed by Beryl Howell then Jeb Boasberg, who took over as DC chief judge in March 2023.

I find the timing interesting. She is on her way out the door. Then Boasberg steps in. I don't think they ever dreamed this would be exposed. This morning when I woke up my first thought was remembering when the left was anticipating Trump being in prison. And how they were already getting their cameras ready to take video of him outside his trailer on the prison yard. They were absolutely gleeful with this reporting. Hoping every day they could take a video of him behind a barbed wired fence.
Our Congress is useless
Replying to @nataliegwinters
Brandon Gill put an article of impeachment against judge Boasberg forward last year and Jim Jordan has done nothing
You called it again, @julie_kelly2!
I’ve said it before but it bears repeating: 🙏🏼 THANK YOU for your outstanding reporting through all these dark days of the American deep state.
I still remember when you published an article in American Greatness calling out all the reporters who got Russiagate correct. That was very generous of you.
FYI: Use these documents to take action yourself. In the US, regular citizens can file ethics or judicial conduct complaints against judges. You do not need to be a lawyer, a party to a case, or have special standing. Flood the zone. uscourts.gov/administration-…
The narrative that the pre-dawn raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s D.C. home was purely a partisan, right-wing hit job just hit a massive, unassailable legal wall from NBC News.
As reported by NBC News, progressive fixers like Norm Eisen rushed to file a Hatch Act complaint, screaming that the executive branch was weaponizing law enforcement to interfere with an election.
But there is a massive problem with that damage control playbook:
The federal judge who reviewed the evidence and signed off on the search warrant is a Biden appointee with a background that makes him the ultimate nightmare for Omar's defense.
The Hatch Act Smokescreen vs. The Reality
The Hatch Act is a federal law designed to stop government employees from using their official authority to manipulate an election.
Eisen is trying to claim the October 2026 raid violates this rule because it happened right before the midterms.
But that completely ignores the strict judicial separation of powers: a president cannot just order a raid. Law enforcement must go to an independent court and climb an incredibly high legal bar to prove probable cause that specific evidence of a crime is physically inside a sitting lawmaker's house.
The Judge: Zia Faruqui (A Biden Appointee)
The search warrant wasn't signed by a MAGA loyalist.
As verified by federal court tracking, it was authorized by U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui, who took office under the Biden administration in September 2020.
Faruqui is a prominent Pakistani-American jurist who grew up in Baltimore as the son of immigrants; the exact kind of background that makes it impossible for critics to smear him with accusations of xenophobic bias.
Furthermore, Faruqui is a fierce independent who has repeatedly locked horns with the Trump administration's Justice Department.
Legal dockets show he famously upbraided prosecutors in D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office, angrily accusing them of trampling on civil rights and declaring they had "no credibility left" during local law-enforcement crackdowns.
He is a meticulous presence in the courtroom who does not rubber-stamp executive requests.
An Expert Background in Illicit Finance
What makes Faruqui’s background truly fascinating, and dangerous for Omar is his 12-year career as an elite federal prosecutor.
Faruqui didn’t handle routine cases; he was a high-level specialist litigating over $700 million in complex international money laundering, sanctions violations, and national security asset forfeitures.
He specialized in tracing illicit global cash flows, North Korean weapons proliferation, and terrorist cryptocurrency networks.
The Bottom Line
When Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) came to the table with childhood immigration discrepancies and financial records, they had to present them to a judge who is a literal expert at spotting international fraud and shell games.
If a Biden-appointed judge, who openly loathes administration overreach; looked at the DOJ's evidence and agreed there was a high enough bar to breach a congresswoman's private home 22 days before an election, it proves the government's case is devastatingly concrete.
Norm Eisen can cry about the Hatch Act all he wants, but his own party's judicial apparatus is the one that validated the raid.
Why haven't impeachment started? @SpeakerJohnson This is why I refuse all of your collective appeals for donations. I only give directly to those who actually do things.
