Some of you wouldn’t believe the number of times someone has made this face at me when I’ve expressed concerns about the impact of immigration on women’s safety.
Immigrants are all good people. I must be brainwashed to disagree with that. They won’t even consider alternatives.

Owen Jones face when he hears about sexual assault against women. Literally his face. He can't even hide his hatred towards us. He's a fucking psychopath.

This is all you need to know about the insufferable cunt.

Interesting stats in light of the “£35B black hole” announced today. One to add, after WW2 less than 3% of people were deemed too sick to work (including those injured in war and with an inferior health service) …
Excellent article in the Wall Street Journal on Britain's unsustainable welfare spending:
— 7 million people (over 10% of the UK population) now claim at least one or more sickness or disability benefit. This is up 60% in the past 6 years.
— The UK will spend over £100 billion pound this year on sickness and disability benefits. This is projected to increase to £130 billion a year by 2030.
— No other Western country has seen such a rise in disability claims. In the US, 10.6 million people claim some form of federal disability payment, despite the population being 5x larger.
— 1 in 7 new cars sold in the UK are under the Motability scheme; however, only 10% of cars are modified for a disability. In one dealership, 25 out of 26 cars they sold in August were all under the Motability scheme.
— Charities, consultants, YouTubers and TikTokers have all sprung up, telling people how to maximise benefit access. Some of these videos receive hundreds of thousands of views. Over 1,000 people a day are signing on for PIP.
— According to a Government survey from 2024, 25% of the UK's working age population could theoretically be classed as disabled under the current criteria and access these benefits.
— A minimum wage worker who works 40 hours per week would take home around £1,880 per month after tax; however, if you are classed as too sick to work and claim PIP, you can take home £2,000 tax free per month.

What a statistic. One in seven.

Everything Martin Lewis campaigns for is in service of the least scrupulous in society. Now it’s weaker council tax enforcement… the second-order effect of which will naturally be increased non-payment, leaving those who do pay their bills to shoulder an ever-greater burden.
When I met Angela Rayner to campaign for change to overly aggressive council tax debt collection, with its unprecedented rapid escalation to balliffs, she nodded like most politicians do.
I explained it was destructive for individuals, councils and the economy. She listened more then said she'd change it. I was sceptical. Yet a consultation was launched within weeks and delightfully the change announced within 18mths (its in place from next April) - bullet train pace for politics.
I've a rule that if I campaign for a politician (of any party) to do something, and they do it, I say thank you. Its important to recognise it. So thank you so much Angela Rayner for listening and more importantly acting. The changes coming are a great start.
