Check out this incredible paper led by Nate Diamant and @gabo_scalia! Nate makes the key observation that many real-world graphs incl. molecules have low graph bandwidth and leverages it to improve autoregressive and one-shot graph generation! arxiv.org/abs/2301.10857 @icmlconf

Super exciting to see this lab start up in 2023! Definitely consider joining the Lyu lab if you're interested in computational drug discovery for a PhD or Postdoc!
Excited to announce that I will be joining the faculty @RockefellerUniv as an assistant professor in Jan 2023! My lab of computational molecular discovery will develop computational methods to bridge interesting chemistry to novel therapeutics. (1/3)
Go work with @bignerdzzy at @UCBerkeley if you want to do awesome science like this!!!!
A new paper from @kevansf and @bignerdzzy identified a strained β-lactone electrophile that covalently targets a KRAS G12 somatic 2 mutation and acylates the mutant serine to suppress oncogenic signaling.

As a grad student and postdoc, I struggled with finding a career path that reflected my values and "just felt right" to me. I looked hard for the unique combination of curiosity-driven research and making a real and positive impact that seemed so hard to find.
If you're excited about how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can impact real-world drug discovery please consider joining my team at gRED. Our unique environment that blends academic-style research with applied challenges in chemistry, biology, and drug discovery.
We have a few full-time positions for AI Scientists to create the next generation of machine learning tools and invent new drugs:
