I had the incredible opportunity to talk about what I do with @BarackObama for a new @netflix series - "Working: What We Do All Day"! @netflix @HGMedia @ConcordiaStudio @aurora_inno
I’m excited to share the trailer for Working. In this series, I talk to American workers across various industries – from hospitality and technology to home care – to understand their jobs and hopes for the future. I hope you’ll check it out on @Netflix on May 17.

Request from a user: "Hey Goose, we've got a one-year-old coming to visit, can you tidy up?" Sounds simple, but it takes a lot of (artificial) intelligence to: 1. Manipulate the huge variety of things in a home 2. Decide which things are safe for a one-year-old This used to need a team of cracked researchers, a billion dollars, and a few years. Now it takes week(s) with open source models (if you know what you're doing). But knowing how to make something people love? Never gonna go out of style. Shown: Qwen3-8B for the sys2 on a RTX 5090, and GR00T n1.7 from @NVIDIARobotics for the sys1 onboard a Jetson AGX Thor.

Meet Goose, a friendly robotic maid designed to help with everyday household tasks. It can tidy up toys, check appliances, bring in packages, and even read stories to children. Its expanding app library allows Goose to develop new skills over time.

The older I get, the more I realize the beauty in being a regular somewhere. Local coffee shop. Gym. Small restaurant. Whatever. There’s something special about the way these third spaces create a feeling of belonging. Real community. It’s deeply human and seriously underrated.

12 months of progress on the jagged frontier: 1) AI got spikier, not rounder. 2) Maths, fluid reasoning, expert work: past human level. 3) There is almost no middle ground. Once a capability crosses human level, it often quickly becomes 100x+ cheaper than a human. 4) Cost keeps decreasing after capability increases stop. Language and knowledge look saturated but price keeps falling. 5) The gaps are not a budget issue. Human-level memory, self-monitoring and long-run planning are not for sale at any price. AI is now a superhuman specialist that is sub-human at running itself.

My days are starting to end with me telling AI "I'm going to bed, I want this finished when Im back tomorrow" and AI telling me "Good night!". What a time to be alive.

The safety data for Waymo gets better and better. Comparison w/ human drivers on rate of crashes with serious injury: Latest data: 270M miles, 20X better Mar 2026: 170M miles, 13X better Before that (forget exactly when): 10X better
270M+ miles. 841 fewer injury-causing crashes. Our latest safety data shows the Waymo Driver continues to make roads safer for everyone. Compared to human drivers across 5 territories, it reduced: 📉 Injury crashes by 82% 📉 Serious injury crashes by 95% Full data: waymo.com/safety/impact

Underrated life advice: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed relationships. Rushed conversations. Rushed timelines. There's power in rejecting that trend. Pause. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.

I really love what @thehumhuworks and friends at @RobotWorksGoose have come up with! Goose is a refreshingly unique design for a home robot.

It would be semi-ironic if the "GPT moment for robotics" is... just GPT lol.
GPT-6 Astra can solve some seriously tricky spatial constraint tasks: from unlocking interlocked parts to threading a rope through three rings. Try it yourself now 👇 qinengwang-aiden.github.io/d…

The deep amount of anxiety people in tech are feeling is off the charts. Had a couple conversations with people of various ages and the themes are: - Every day there are 5 new earth shattering new tech breakthroughs. I can’t keep up. Should I be keeping up? Am I falling behind? - What does my career and skill mean in the age of AI? Is software engineering a 30yr long career any more? Is product management? - Is my only hope to start a company? - At the very least, it feels like I should join a startup but which one? Everything seems either overvalued or has no moat. - Okay I joined a startup. Is my company’s equity worth anything or will this be another Airtable or Miro? - Startup is doing well. How in the world am I supposed to find a significant other? - Will these immigration policy shifts allow me to be here long term? - Will I ever be able to afford a house and a life in the Bay Area amidst the biggest wealth creation event of all time? - Okay, I figured all of that out. What is my purpose? I’m wealthy but no one really cares. I don’t really know what to do with it. Am I supposed to start a company? - Alright I found peace in kids. But I’m worried about them. How does one raise kids in this climate? What are the rules of this new world order? Many of these concerns are of course not limited to tech or the Bay, although it feels particularly concentrated here (versus what I see in NYC). Maybe some people will read this and feel anxious themselves, and for that I apologize. For the rest, just know that it’s not just you who feels this way. It’s a lot of people!

"Astra is all you need" We're really seeing something happening in robotics - at the same time I'm yet to see these models operate a safety critical product for real. It's going to be exciting to see what it takes to close that last x%.
GPT-6 Astra is the most significant leap in robotics I’ve seen in the past few years. It cracked RoboLab with a near-perfect score. Solid infrastructure + scaling ultimately outperformed the heuristics explored in small-scale studies. We’re definitely on the brink of physical RSI. Source: anonymous-report-421.github.…

Mindblown! Some really cool tech from World Labs - just look at the videos in this thread. I'm extra impressed that they beat all the dedicated models on 3D reconstruction. #worldmodels #worldlabs
Introducing Atlas: The world's first multimodal world model that generates image and video frames with pixel-perfect camera control and reconstructs them in 3D. Model the world, move the camera, and simulate space & time.

Atlas understands both the spatial structure of the world and how it evolves over time. This lets us turn a handful of ordinary cameras into a "bullet time" multiview capture studio, capturing dynamic moments frozen in time.
