Lrt as much as i advocate for people using taboo kinks/fiction to cope and process trauma i think it's also important to remember that some of us are just freaks and that's also okay as long as it never leaves fiction
I wonder if it's confusing for new authors to know what advice to take when things like this are so ubiquitous. It can be a struggle to determine what is worth giving weight and what is worth dismissing. Although if you saw it on twitter, probably just dismiss it lol

I saw of video of Ethan Hawke lamenting how he's not reading half as much as he once did. This is a much deeper and darker pattern. Some of the most avid readers I know, lifelong readers, have basically stopped. They hate it and can't even explain it, the fire's just gone out
