Well said.
Canada’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was found to be illegal.
Alberta’s public health orders were found to be illegal.
Governments demanded compliance of the vax “for the public good.” Then they abandoned the injured.
Where are the consequences for those in power?
Where is the recognition of the harm done to the people?
How do those involved have the audacity to lecture citizens about responsibility when they have yet to answer for their own decisions?
And how are we supposed to trust leaders who demand accountability from everyone but themselves?
You cannot convince me they are working for the people while they fight so hard to avoid accountability and refuse to acknowledge those harmed.
Public office is not a shield from consequences. Those who refuse to answer for their mistakes or the harm they caused have no business holding power or lecturing the rest of us about right and wrong.
This was the worst PI call I have ever seen. The colour announcer was like, ya well they are calling it tight. wtf! @NFLOfficiating come on. Do better.
Why did you have to call an election to tell us this?
WHY didn't you just DO IT while you had the power to do so?
You are a liar.
It should be. I invite you to read it again.
I would NEVER vote for the NDP.
Of course you’re there one who said you and Dave should go and get a hit….so, there’s that. Loser.
I am Politically “UnHoused”.
I am a Conservative. I have been my entire life. I’ve been voting for 33 years and have never flirted with the left. They just simply do not hold the same values as I.
This will be only the second time in my voting life where I will abstain. The first was in Alberta when it was a foregone conclusion that King Ralph was about to win a 3rd term. Right or wrong, as a younger man I didn’t think it was that big of a deal to not cast a vote.
The unnecessary election called by David Eby in 2026 will be the second time I will abstain.
But not because it looks like he cruising to victory. Because I am politically homeless or dare I say, unhoused 🧐😜
The Conservative Party of BC that I began volunteering for in 2022 began with those values and ideals that I hold true.
But sadly over time, the party was infected by leftists let in by the very people that pretended to espouse those same Conservative values.
So I left the party and resigned my seat on the board after witnessing first hand the lengths of corruption the CPBC would go to, to ensure the changes they wanted at the AGM would take place. They did this by bussing in 150 south Asian men to vote as delegates in ridings they knew nothing about. Something apparently known as ‘Indo-Packing’.
After a short time away from politics I was inched back after Dallas, Tara and Jordan all left the CPBC. There was this new opportunity forming that seemed to bring with it my sense of belonging on the political right. Unfortunately, that was short lived and the party imploded in on itself driven by a certain amount of egomania.
That is a party that I can’t and won’t support as I view them no differently than the CPBC. The only difference is that OneBC actually knows where they stand on the spectrum. Regardless of where they stand, our values do not align.
I learned a long time ago that if you are in a values misalignment in any kind of relationship be it business, personal or political, it will never work no matter how much you compromise. Resentment will build and you’ll eventually be forced to a decision.
So here I sit.
Politically homeless for the first time in my voting life.
I would rather not cast a vote than have to hold my nose and vote for a party for the sole reason that they are not the NDP.
My values mean more to me than that.
We are seeing this in #Bcpoli right now. It’s only going to get worse.
The @Conservative_BC and @LDoerkson will not own up to this. They threw @HeatherMaahs under the bus as Chris has said.
If you don’t object to these kinds of books in our schools, you are someone we need to protect our kids against. That simple. This topic IS black and white.
This quoted post is unavailable.
You want to know what principled Conservative leadership looks like? Watch the video below.
This is not a video of @Dallas_Brodie. It is not @LDoerkson. It is my friend Tara Armstrong backing away from running in her riding because she knows what is at stake.
Congratulations on what you’ve achieved my friend. You’re doing the right thing for you and for the province.
I entered the political arena for one reason: to deliver as many knockout punches as it took to bring down this NDP government and to finally return the province to the people of British Columbia.
Over the past two years, I introduced 14 bills and fought 17 battles in Question Period.
I took on issues other MLAs would not touch. Abolishing the Human Rights Tribunal. Closing drug consumption sites. Defunding Aboriginal title claims over privately owned land.
I asked questions that David Eby wouldn’t answer.
What is a woman?
Why are healthy Canadian men being discriminated against by their own government?
Why won't you condemn far-left ANTIFA violence?
But fighting against bad ideas was never enough. I also put forward ambitious new policies.
This included major reforms to:
- lower taxes on housing and income earned by young people;
- require foreign residents to contribute toward the cost of healthcare;
- protect children from harmful gender ideology and medical procedures; and
- make pharmaceutical corporations financially accountable for the harms caused by experimental drug products, among many others.
Through all of it, I was fortunate to have one brave ally beside me in the House. Thank you, Jordan Kealy. I also had an extraordinary team in both my legislative and constituency offices. They had my back every step of the way.
What I hadn't anticipated was that the fiercest resistance would come from within the BC Conservative Party. Too often, my own former “conservative” colleagues stood in the way of the changes I was fighting for. Changes that aligned with the platform that we all ran on.
I left the party to sit as an Independent last year after its AGM left me concerned that the party didn’t respect the democratic rights of its members. That conviction only deepened this summer with the wave of MLA resignations protesting the leader chosen by those same members. I simply can’t stand behind a party that won’t respect the fundamental democratic rights of British Columbians.
As for OneBC, I won't rehash last year. What I do want you to know is that we tried to work with Dallas. We really did. And we tried to reconcile with her before the election, too.
My team reached out to her through a mutual friend before the writ drop with an offer to put differences aside and to work together as partners through the general election and until OneBC could finally hold its first AGM and leadership review. We received no response to that request.
After the writ drop, we saw OneBC announce that they were running a candidate in my riding despite having publicly committed not to split the vote against principled conservatives.
If I were to run now as an Independent, with a three-way vote split on the right, a likely outcome would be another NDP MLA. In an election this tight, that could be enough to doom BC to another Eby majority.
I'm not going to do that to my fellow British Columbians.
I have decided, therefore, not to seek re-election on October 24th, 2026.
To my constituents: thank you for trusting me with your stories, your challenges, and your ideas. Serving you has been one of the greatest honours of my life.
To my team: thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not have done any of this without you. You went from acquaintances, to colleagues, to friends, and ultimately to an extended family for which I will always be grateful.
To my kids: thank you for all the times you shared me with this job, and for your patience, your love, and your unwavering support.
And to my husband and best friend: thank you for standing beside me through every day of this journey, for believing in me, and for giving me the strength to carry on. You were there on the hard days, and there were many.
The truth is that the change BC needs won’t arrive on October 24th. It will take a fight, both inside and outside of our Legislature, for many months and election cycles to come. Ours is a long struggle, but with integrity, courage, and determination, we will prevail.
🧐
If you are not utterly shocked, incredibly saddened, and massively disturbed by how Islam and Communism are destroying the West, you are morally, intellectually and spiritually dead. This is the greatest civilisational struggle of our lifetime. There is no place for fence-sitting here. You are either resisting this satanic takeover, or you are part of the problem.
Nope that isn't what she said Chandra...she said that SOGI policies and pornographic books in schools has gone to far. Stories depicting boy on boy. Yes, BOY on BOY, are in our schools.
This is unacceptable Chandra. Explain how it's not. Exposing children to pornographic materials is plain wrong.
This communist has taken a page out of Mamdani's book.
PRICE controls? You know what ideology believes in price controls? Communism.
I'm sick and fkn tired of how expensive everything is. The ones pushing prices up are socialist spendthrifts like Eby and Trudeau/Carney.
Don't think that increasing the debt and deficit have an affect? Well, here we are.
Every trip to the grocery store costs more, and you and your family should be protected at the till when you check out.
We cut child care costs in half and cut car insurance by $500. Now my plan takes on the grocery giants to protect you from rising costs on the basics.
The conservative parties won't stand up to the big guys. I will. That's how we build B.C. strong.
The @Conservative_BC doesn't want to answer these questions @katy_merrifield so maybe you can.
Why did the Conservative Party of BC allow Peter Milobar and 6 other MLAs to come back to the party after they joined a different political party? In fact, Peter became the leader of that party. How were they able to retain their membership in the CPBC?
I think this is a question that deserves an answer. The CPBC saw fit to kick others out (@AnthonyRussoBC) for publicly supporting a different party, let alone JOINING one. If the CPBC can't even follow their own rules/consitution, how can we expect them to run this province ethically and trasnparently?
There was no deal and there will be no deal. He and others took calls from various splinter parties when the snap election was called to hear them out.
You also called us multiple times Elenore, desperate to get an exit ramp from Centre BC.
Our unified Conservative Party of BC will be running 93 candidates in this election. Let's win BC.
If this is the case then the Kamloops Indian band needs to return the $12M that was earmarked for excavation.
If you don't need to exhume and there is evidence, then WHY did the Kamloops Indian band TAKE the money?
Oh right, inconvenient facts for your virtue signalling BS PSA
A public service message to the "No Bones" crowd.
As a civilized nation, we do not exhume remains other than for archaeological purposes or forensic investigations.
It is more than adequate to understand that bodies are buried and the numbers are supported by other evidence. We do not unearth remains and desecrate graves soley based on some far-right, radical, organization's inane belief that if they cannot see a bone it must be untrue.
Although GPR data is not conclusive when used on it;s own, but when combined with other information, anomalies in the context of site conditions, survey patterns, high‑precision GPS, ArcGIS, and other evidence, community resources and public datasets one can map over 200 anomalities/graves at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.
We do not see to see a bone to understand and believe truth.

“While anecdotes, even if there are thousands of them, do not negate the evils that took place at these schools, one would be hard-pressed to find any similar stories from Auschwitz, the Killing Fields, Ottoman-occupied Armenia, or in the pages of Romeo Dallaire’s Shake Hands with the Devil.”

I try not to swear too much on this app but this is fucking disgusting.
On the third anniversary of October 7, students at @UofT will hold a vigil, not for the innocent Israelis raped, murdered, and kidnapped that day, but for the animals who carried out those attacks. What's happened to this once great country is appalling.

Their rules are like playdough. If they don't like what it looks like they just mold it into something else.
