A Canadian dollar stablecoin is only useful if Canadians can get access to it. Everything we have been building since 2021 has been about that.
This week the Ontario Securities Commission issued a receipt for the final prospectus of CADC Reserve Trust.
Nearly every digital dollar in circulation is American. Canadians moving money onchain have been doing it in someone else's currency, on someone else's terms. We started CADC so that would be optional.
This offering is only made by prospectus. The Prospectus is accessible through SEDAR+ under the profile of the Issuer. Investors should read the Prospectus before making an investment decision.

The Canadian dollar has never had much of a presence onchain. Nearly every digital dollar in circulation is American, which means Canadians moving money digitally have been doing it in someone else's currency, on someone else's terms.
@CADCstablecoin is the answer to that, and as of this week it comes with a prospectus.

This week, a petition I worked on with @StandWCrypto_CA was presented in the House of Commons.
Petition e-6978 calls for a clear, workable #stablecoin regulatory framework in Canada.
8,627 Canadians signed the petition
130,000+ advocates stood behind it through Stand with Crypto Canada
MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith presented it on the floor of the House
What mattered most were the people who cared enough to sign, and the team at Stand with Crypto Canada who organized them into a number Ottawa couldn't ignore: thousands of Canadians telling Parliament that this technology deserves a serious framework, and the government putting that on the official record.
Canada's Stablecoin Act has passed. The real work now is the regulations that bring it into force, making sure they enable builders, protect consumers, and keep Canada competitive with the US, the EU, and everywhere else.

Earlier this week, MP @NateForOntario read our stablecoin petition e-6978 in Parliament.
Initiated by @kevinzhangTO, Founder of @LoonFinance, and supported by Stand With Crypto Canada, the petition brought nearly 9,000 advocate voices to Parliament calling for clear and responsible stablecoin rules.
The journey to get here started long before the petition was read - from live stablecoin demos for MPs and staff in Ottawa, to months of education, advocacy, and community action.
