Fungo labs, a Zama ecosystem project, just made a series of announcements recently
What you should know:
The team will be launching a NFT collection and also a FUNGO token
The fungo token will be launched at a later date in which good portions of it will be airdropped to the Fungo NFT holders
The NFT mint will take place this Thursday, Nov 5.
The NFT sale will be in the form of a sealed-bid auction just like the Zama auction few months ago, more info on @FungoLabs page.
Now regarding the FUNGO token, it will have a total supply of 10 billion tokens, with the tokenomics being;
- %36 to Fungo NFT holders
- %7 to Zama OG NFT holders
- %3 to X campaign participants
- %10 to community and team each
- %34 to Fungo/Zama liquidity pool.

That’s one reason I’m interested in what @FungoLabs is building around its Genesis NFTs.

One thing I’ve always found interesting about NFTs is how much information about ownership and activity is publicly visible.

Imagine interacting with NFTs while keeping certain information encrypted.

@FungoLabs has shared more details about its tokenomics, and I think every community member should understand how the allocation works.
Let's break it down.
1. Fungo Genesis NFT holders
36% of the total supply is allocated to Genesis NFT holders.
That's 3.6 billion $FUNGO shared across 3,232 NFTs.
Each Genesis NFT receives exactly 1,113,861 $FUNGO at TGE.
2. Zama OG NFT holders
Zama OG holders receive 7% of the total supply.
That's 700 million $FUNGO, with the same claim rules as Genesis NFT holders.
3. X Campaign creators
Another 3% of the total supply, worth 300 million $FUNGO, is allocated to creators.
