When KR baseball coach Mike Haney lost three catchers to injury, he turned to his All-League SS to take on the challenge of a position change.
Even though he had never played catcher, junior Teddy Maccarone was ready.
And he thrived.

One of the better high school baseball games you'll ever see. Oliver Walker delivers the game-winning single just past the diving first baseman. My goodness!

As good a ballgame as I've seen all year. All three runs score via beautifully executed small ball, including the last as Alex Geist got a great sac bunt down and Johnny Estep lashed the game-winning single in the top of the eighth. Tristyn Page the four-hitter for Roosevelt.
