PSA: Find your voter status (in Bangalore) easily. Pls RT.
Final SIR data is out!
But it's all a myriad of PDFs to comb through, captchas, slow sites, and changed part numbers so it is hard to find out your status as a voter!
Over 4 days, I painstakingly reverse engineered the captcha, downloaded 10,000+ PDFs (over 100GB), OCR'ed them, converted to structured data, and then setup sir-bangalore.shantanugoel.c… so you can search for your status through name, voter id, house number etc in an instant without any captcha.

Udaipur’s Old City.
Narrow lanes. Clean, quaint, charming.
Founded in 1559.
There is no reason this should draw fewer visitors than the medieval towns of Europe. None at all.
We travel far to discover new places.
Sometimes the discovery begins closer home.

You want the young officer to sacrifice his life for the love of the Nation, but you don’t want him to express his love for his fiancée.
In the Army we say ‘Youngster nahi karega, toh kaun karega’.
If you can not find a fault in his professional capabilities, don’t do this nuktachini for such a pure gesture of love and belonging.
Military equipment has been on display during many ‘Know your Army’ exhibitions around the country. The students and non military personnel have clicked pics with it showing pride and love for the Army. So, please don’t bring in the national security angle into this.
Let the young soldier do his national duty with pride and honour 👍

I'm not very happy with the code quality and I think agents bloat abstractions, have poor code aesthetics, are very prone to copy pasting code blocks and it's a mess, but at this point I stopped fighting it too hard and just moved on. The agents do not listen to my instructions in the AGENTS.md files. E.g. just as one example, no matter how many times I say something like:
"Every line of code should do exactly one thing and use intermediate variables as a form of documentation"
They will still "multitask" and create complex constructs where one line of code calls 2 functions and then indexes an array with the result. I think in principle I could use hooks or slash commands to clean this up but at some point just a shrug is easier.
Yes I think LLM as a judge for soft rewards is in principle and long term slightly problematic (due to goodharting concerns), but in practice and for now I don't think we've picked the low hanging fruit yet here.

India. Home. World Champions. 🇮🇳🏆
Couldn’t have imagined this any better even if I tried. From dreaming about playing for India in this city to creating history here, it’s been a blessed ride.
Grateful for this team, the support, the fans, and this moment.

China is providing so much sat imagery of US bases hit by Iran. Same capabilities cudnt find damage in Indian bases last yr;)
China has once again made public satellite images of the damage to the U.S Al Dhafra base in the UAE.
Chinese continue to expose damage to western military bases throughout the Middle East. With the clear censorship regime in place China is making information available that otherwise would remain hidden from public view.

Jaha matter bade hote hai vaha Pakistani sabse phele haar maan lete hai 😅
Jaha matter bade hote hai vaha Indians sabse aage khade hote hai 👏
That's the difference between both teams, India defended 45 in 18 at Mumbai, and Pakistan can't defend 48 in 18 at MCG 😆

I have heard so many accounts from Sindhi friends about how their families had to leave everything and come to India during partition. They rebuilt their lives and Sindhis have done well in India.
I am sad to say this, but for Indians on an H1-B visa in America, this may be that time. Come back home. It may take 5 years to rebuild your lives but it will make you stronger.
Do not live in fear. Make the bold move. You will do well. 🙏
