Oooh “stochastic terrorism” ❤️❤️❤️

Two real, tragic crashes happened but that doesn’t make the claim true. Comparing one spike year to historical aggregates across modes is base-rate neglect. It is also being complicit in amplifying a hoax. Ragebait? shitposting? all the same to me: stochastic terrorism.

ever since I stopped following the entire indie hacker scene, my life has been 100X better mentally. The reason why they were so early is because they had strong passports OR wealthy parents while I got my first shitty computer only in 2010

Like obviously my Opus 5.5 vibe coded app could manage Spanish trains better than whatever dumb shit they use right now that killed 100+ people this year already

Levels is the textbook example of Dunning-Kruger effect. He spends 2 months in a place and has an opinion about everything, everyone. All wrong. Confidently wrong. He doesn’t understand how science, mathematics, or statistics work. Just a marketer, a machine gun spewing bullshit

not only him, its also Marc now following in those footsteps, sometimes they make good posts, but I have a feeling they dont do a lot of reading or research, especially on the "research" posts they make also the Spain train crash post was in bad taste, and has nothing to do with its software, and everything to do with political sabotage, but their little indie building brains cant process that sadly.

He is the OG vibecoder. He is easily impressed by the fact that he can do stuff and equally oblivious to the fact that he seldom knows what the fuck is going on. That's why he is always pulling "statistics" out of his ass just because he found some data.

So true. Same BS for all nutrition stuff. Calling out sugar as causing inflammation, but eating tons of steak per day, although there's some evidence that animal products can also cause inflammation. Nutrition is more complex than "seed oil is bad, animal stuff is good"
