I belong primarily to my wife and kids. I can’t take care of extended family in my lifetime & even in death still take care of them. Oko ki se ti baba t’omo ko ma ni ala. even I were communally raised, whatever I have given back in my lifetime is what you get.
The post is one of the reasons why there is always family feud after a man dies.
We must learn to understand that a man doesn’t belong to the wife and kids only, he also belongs to his “extended” family especially if his parents are still alive (permit me to use the term “extended”).
So, no one party can actually choose to do whatever they like with the man or his property especially when the man dies intestate. Everyone must come together and reach several compromise.
It is belief like this that fuels the family fued that exists after demise of a spouse.
Sometimes, it is not a case of people hating the widow but a case of people not wanting to accept that other people have rights to the deceased and his properties too.
In some countries like Singapore, if a man dies intestate and he has parents, the intestate succession act mandates that the wealth is shared equally between the spouse and parents.
Wives should learn to accommodate the husband’s family in decisions around the deceased and the husband’s family should also learn to accommodate and respect the wife in such scenarios too

Most of you dont see your wives/your siblings wives as your family/their families and it shows.

The three years before an election year, you’d have constructive conversations with Nigerians with the common goal of voting the goverment out right until about the 6 month mark, then you start to see the switch slowly and ultimately you’d see what people really care about.

You can buy at least 100 pigs in Africa for the cost of flying 1 pig to Africa, but 40k people believe his uncle “flew a bunch of pigs to Africa”
There’s that vaunted Aryan IQ 😂
My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food.
They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching.
They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.

Again, Yorùbá People should be less focused on Ilorin for Islamist extremists.
The Islamists I have come across have been from Ọṣun, Òyó and Ogun States.
Overemphasizing on Ilorin will make y'all lose sight of the multifaceted problem.
Yorùbá People aren't invisible!

A lot of bad gender takes on this site come from women not understanding that "my wife/girlfriend is so much better than me, I don't deserve her, etc." is one of those things men say without much concern for whether it's accurate.

People supported a man who started wearing his deceased son's clothes, tried to launch his music career off his child's unfortunate demise. Nothing should really shock me about your demonic brains. You dont care about the dead, it's just another gist to you.

For tearing poster. DSS for poster destruction. You guys are just so neck deep in this mandate thing that you dont use your brains anymore.
Rilwan Olawale tagged the DSS himself while tearing APC's poster. Maybe you didn't see this before releasing this statement.

The concept of going around the homes of bereaved people with microphone and camera to exploit their vulnerability, and maybe anger, for views on social media is insane.
