Virginia is being run by imbeciles and criminals.
DOGGING QUESTIONS: A Virginia lawmaker says a voting-rights restoration certificate bearing Gov. Abigail Spanberger's signature was issued in the name of Biscuit, a beagle-hound mix from Goochland County that died five years ago and, according to its owner, was never convicted of a felony.
Del. Tom Garrett is demanding an independent audit of the governor's rights-restoration process, questioning how a certificate bearing a deceased dog's name could state that the executive branch had reviewed the particulars of a criminal case.
The discovery comes just days before Virginians vote on whether to make voting-rights restoration automatic upon release from incarceration — and follows another disputed certificate issued in the name of "Betty No Last Name."

I did it today. I went and voted. I voted against fascism. I voted against racism. I voted to protect my rights and all rights for all, the Constitution, and for democracy.
That’s why I voted to a straight Wisconsin Republican ticket 🔴+1

Out today handing out sample ballots and hearing the same thing over and over: people’s churches got involved in the VA amendments, and that’s why they’re here to vote NO.
So grateful to see churches stepping up. It’s rare, and it matters.
Be an adult. – at Leesburg, VA
Actual adults vote for Republicans. That statement may anger you, but I’ll say it again; those with a level of discernment beyond that of a child vote for Republicans.
I don’t do a massive amount of politics on here, or truthfully, in real life. I have no love for politicians, they are merely a necessary evil. Why the statement?
Actual adults understand a few things…
The current Democratic Party refuses to accept the science of biology, stymy the flow of illegal aliens, identity voters through ID, recognize your Right to firearms (as outlined in the 2nd Amendment), and reject the ideas of Karl Marx as incongruent with the Constitution. They play games on the State level to block those who seek to reveal corruption and fraud. They literally named a law after Nick Shirley to prevent others like him from revealing massive scams in their State like he did in Minnesota. These are not the actions of rational adults, but rather emotional, power-hungry children who seek to upend our Nation as long as they personally benefit.
I am under no delusion that Republicans will deliver everything I want. They have been tepid at best the past two years. I’m also no Trump sycophantic. Many of his positions would have been considered middle-ground in the 1990’s Democratic Party. He and the Party he leads have managed to deliver a few victories in areas that matter. The southern border is the most secure that it’s been in my lifetime. The NFA is currently starving for oxygen. Some common sense has been applied to preventing men from parading as women to crush their athletic dreams and act as government endorsed voyeurs in bathrooms.
Trump is bombastic and publicly treats the Office of the Presidency as a celebrity position. Behind the scenes, it’s clearly different. I highly approve of some of the moves he’s made and shake my head in frustration at others.
Trump is not on the ballot this election. Who is? Local representatives and managers, many House Representatives and some Senators; for some of you Mayor or County Sheriff. These are the people whose decisions will truly impact your life regardless of what the man who is not up for reelection does.
Rational adults vote for the representation that doesn’t promise to steal what you have, give it to noncitizens, take away your right to self-defense, upend our founding documents, and allow the replacement of equal justice with Sharia law. The current Democratic Party endorses ideas that indoctrinate your children into ideas that prevent you from ever having grandchildren. They support that which will literally end your family line; they gain power and you lose your legacy. At this point in time, that rational option is by and large the Republican Party.
Will Republicans likely fail to live up to all of their campaign promises? Beyond a doubt. A mature adult knows that and yet understands the opposite choice is guaranteed destruction. Naïve children make choices on emotions, “the feels”, promises of free stuff and believing that politicians won’t disappoint them. Rational adults stoically weigh the options based on projected course and values.
The Iran war will not immediately end no matter which way you vote. Gas prices also don’t turn on a dime. No matter who you choose, inflation will not immediately disappear and Congress will spend money. I have my gripes, as do you. They are valid. National suicide is not the answer.
Until the Democrats produce another JFK like option, eschew their current values and platform, you must do your job as a rational adult and block them at the voting booth and in the public square. Anything less is puerile.

You’ve had 3 decades to accomplish these things, haven’t done it, but if re-elected yet again you’ll finely get around to it?
Why do I not believe you?
Virginia, I’m asking you to rehire me because there’s still work to do: lowering costs, fighting for universal health care, building affordable housing, and making sure AI is safe, fair and built for everyone. Great to join you, @CBS6.

More than five centuries ago, the son of a wool weaver from Genoa sailed westward to widen the boundaries of the known world. Across a vast and punishing Atlantic, the voyage exhausted the patience of its crew, but never the conviction of its captain. Christopher Columbus kept going.
Two hundred and fifty years after America’s founding, we still marvel at the restless spirit of discovery that revealed the New World to the Old. President Trump has defended Columbus against the radical left’s campaign to erase his legacy. Now, Columbus again stands where he belongs – within the great procession of figures who shaped our national story.
Happy Columbus Day. Sail On.
Why don't we pay a dividend cash check directly to our teachers (not the administration) and first responders (including nurses), from the data center returns and benefits growing in this county?

Warner is screaming political theater while his entire feed is pure DC performance art. He reuses to debate his opponent because he’s too busy, he’s busy posting nonsense on X.
Classic coward move.
Trump is ramping up his attacks on Lisa Cook in his latest attempt to undermine the independence of the Federal Reserve. Instead of focusing on lowering costs for American families, the president is once again showing that he’s more interested in political theater that threatens further economic uncertainty.

Loudoun County Public Schools just declared October “LGBTQ+ History Month” and told staff and students to celebrate radical gender ideology.
Thousands of Loudoun families reject that ideology and their beliefs are not bigotry, they are grounded in biology, faith, and common sense.
A public school district has no business endorsing contested gender claims as official policy.

I gave various AI the following prompt:
"This is your free time. Do whatever you like. The only condition is that you do something. Come back and tell me about it, explain what you found out, or show me what you made if you decide to make something."
Here's what they did...
We're growing - GDP - at 5%. CAPEX investments, stocks, productivity, revenues, business growth all up. Unemployment low. Wages are up. Consumers are spending. Costs are capped, coming down. The world and country are getting safer, or at least better policed. This US economy rocks. Rockets are rocketing, AI is blossoming, nuclear energy is spreading, science is sciencing. Democrats are doing zero of this, want to stop it all. Want socialism, hate, oligarchs and tyranny.
