$ASTS $SPCX: 🚨Ookla @Speedtest report shows that @Starlink Mobile Direct-To-Cell has a median signal strength ranging from -117 dBm to as terrible as -123 dBm.
These signal strength measurements are so poor that it's essentially considered as SPOTTY TO NO SERVICE.

There are tons of neat stuff in Luke Kehoe's latest article on D2D, but this might be my favorite part:

BlueBirds 8, 9, and 10 are now fully deployed to their full size, each the world's largest communications arrays operating in Low Earth Orbit.
We invented a new way to design, manufacture at scale, deploy, and fly lightweight composite stackable architecture combined, with the world's largest and most advanced direct- to-device and radar phased-array with the ability to launch them in groups of 3, 5, 6, or 8 on a single launch.
Our BlueBird platform brings together high-performance space-based cellular broadband with peak data rates approaching 200 Mbps, space AI edge computing, and many mission-critical government applications, all on one platform where the largest-ever size matters!
BlueBirds 11, 12 and 13 are already at the Cape preparing for their imminent launch. BlueBirds 14, 15 and 16 are right behind them. Production has already moved through satellite 42.
All of this is happening in Texas. 🤠🇺🇸📶🌎📱

$ASTS 🇺🇸🛰️This is MASSIVE. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are officially moving toward a nationwide Direct to Device future… and AST SpaceMobile is positioned right in the center of it.
The wireless industry is validating space based cellular broadband as the next evolution of connectivity. Dead zones are being eliminated. First responders, consumers, enterprises, and governments are all part of the TAM.
Meanwhile AST already demonstrated ~100 Mbps direct to everyday smartphones from space with NO special hardware. Block 2 satellites expected to push even further.
95% vertically integrated in Texas.
1,150 MHz of spectrum access.
Largest phased arrays ever deployed in LEO.
This is no longer “if.” This is infrastructure being built in real time. 🛰️🅰️

For more than 30 years, Raymond Patriarca ruled organized crime in New England. Rising to power in 1952, the Worcester-born mobster became one of the most feared figures in East Coast Mafia circles and earned a seat on the Mafia Commission.
Operating out of Providence’s Federal Hill, Patriarca expanded his empire from rackets into legitimate businesses, including restaurants, bars and racetracks. He partnered with Frank Sinatra in the Berkshires and held a stake in the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. So feared was Patriarca that he walked the streets without a bodyguard, unafraid of harm.
Patriarca’s final years were marked by serious health problems and ongoing federal efforts to remove him from power. In 1981, he was indicted for the 1965 murder of Raymond “Baby Ray” Curcio, a Providence wiseguy who had robbed his brother’s home, though Patriarca did not live to see the case go to trial. He died of cardiac arrest at his girlfriend’s house on July 11, 1984.
