One great thing about Shetland sheep is you dont have to doc their tails. They wag them when they’re happy. Kinda like dogs that eat lots of grass.
If the power grid goes down and you never hear from me again.
I just want you all to know
I enjoyed our time here and getting to know you guys. You’ve been wonderfully encouraging and you are def going to make it. You’re tougher, smarter and more lovable than you know!
You can always make more money.
Seeing your babies’ first steps, hearing their first words and enjoying those precious first years is a vanishingly brief opportunity you miss forever if you don’t aggressively protect it.
“Poor” is a skill issue more than a monetary problem.

Poor white women started the trad wife movement around 2016 because their husbands were feeling emasculated.

I actually believe we should be party maxxing. Throw your birthday party. Throw a party every change you get. It doesn’t have to be crazy or super expensive, but parties are good for the soul! I’m anti birthday trip but pro-party for every occasion.
🧵Once I was hiking with my son and his friends, we passed some cliffs that hundreds armature mountain climbers visit every year to try and summit. Many succeed, but a few die.
Son’s friend says “Cimbing that should be illegal. Then no one would die.”/
We had a long discussion about how risk can be generative and it’s worth it for people to engage threats. I struggled to get this kid to understand my perspective.
It was an exchange that took places years ago, but it made me realize I need to learn more philosophy./
I love the way you’ve said this. I don’t think it’s ever really gone away for many families. Most men running business have wives doing their admin and kids helping out.

In pre-industrial society, the household was a unit of economic production. Husbands and wives, their children and possibly other family members and employees worked together on the family farm or business. A man was as economically dependent on his wife as she was on him.

But every pack of Tom’s has at least one Chad, it’s an unwritten rule
Check out these turkey polts playing in the rain. Yes, that’s the white one right there is growing up. Thought it would be a jake, but we may very well be seeing a hen.
I love seeing so many dads taking their daughters out hunting on the TL. You men are raising them right!
We’re all just smaller parts of a bigger cycle. It’s happened before and it will happen again. For some reason this is comforting to me.

Sometimes I pretend that on the other side of each Twitter account is a real, three-dimensional person. Each with a complex inner-life and things going on.
It's just a weird little game I like to play.

It's been finished. I just haven't taken the time to post it. I actually didn't even need to cook it down. The cook time vs liquid in the recipe was just right.
This recipe is a keeper. The extra touch I added made it perfect!
8 jars. Ignore my wonky jars. I save them all lol.
“Water tastes like nothing. I need flavor.”
I don’t understand this. All water tastes distinct to me. There’s water I like and some I don’t care for, but it’s all varied.
Am I weird?
