I’m so sorry to read this. I don’t want this for my child who has worked so hard at medical school. Moving gives them opportunities but why should they have to uproot their lives just because of government policy to reduce doctors in the UK?

America Has Spoken. And Trump Has Lost. Again.
Well, there we have it. Donald Trump, a man who has spent his entire life confusing noise with popularity, has once again discovered that shouting louder does not make you a winner.
This election was about him. His chaos. His corruption. His spectacular talent for taking a functioning country and treating it like a demolition project.
He has attacked American institutions, bullied America’s allies, undermined democracy, turned politics into a travelling circus and made the United States look increasingly like a country being governed from the comments section of a particularly unpleasant website.
And Americans have had enough.
They do not stand with Putin’s Russia. They stand with Ukraine. They do not want another disastrous war with Iran. They do not want cruelty, intimidation and masked men terrorising their streets. They do not want their president treating the Constitution like an irritating parking regulation.
They want their country back.
And here is the delicious part. Trump made this election a referendum on himself. His enormous ego demanded it. And the voters delivered their verdict.
You lost, Donald. Again.
Thank you, America. For remembering who you are. For standing up to the bullies. And, most importantly, for finally grabbing the steering wheel before the lunatic drove the entire bloody country into a ditch.

The Genocide in Gaza is entering its final stages, after the 'ceasefire' Palestinians were given 50% of Gaza.

Thank goodness for senior consultants like @parthaskar standing up for patient safety. As a living donor and peer advocate, I know "available" means nothing when an unconscious patient crashes. We need a proper, fully qualified doctor directly doing the job, not shortcuts. 🛑🩺

Every TARGET these days is about “teaching GPs” to diagnose and manage something what used to be remit of specialist services. Rheumatology, Immunology, Endocrines, Neurology etc keep rejecting referrals with A&Gs. Patients are going private to see these specialists

I got a call from a scammer yesterday.
Me: “Hello.”
Scammer: (thick, heavy accent) “Hello. This is Tom Smith from Microsoft Support. We are seeing a lot of virus activity coming from your device.”
Me: “Oh no. My device? Are you sure?”
Scammer: “Oh yes, Madam. We have many reports.”
Me: “Oh, jeez. How can I fix it?”
Scammer: “It’s okay, Madam. We can help you right now. Are you in front of your device?”
Me: “Yes. I was just about to use it. I’m glad you called.”
Scammer: “Good, Madam. Please push the Start button.”
Me: “I think it’s already on.”
Scammer: “Okay, Madam. Now click on Control Panel.”
Me: “I don’t see that.”
Scammer: “Do you see a bunch of information above the Start button?”
Me: “Yes.”
