On July 11, ICE arrested Moussa Diawara, an illegal alien from Mali with a final order of removal from a judge.
On February 2, 2012, an immigration judge ordered Diawara removed from the United States. Diawara, who is married to a woman he shares 2 children with, oddly claimed he would be persecuted for homosexuality if returned home to Mali, and requested a withholding of removal from his home country. On July 30, he was removed from the United States to a country that provided diplomatic assurances for his safety.
“It feels really empty without him,” says 16-year-old Corey Diawara, whose father was deported in July.
His father had lived in the U.S. for 25 years and had no criminal record. Moussa Diawara says he was deported without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge. He was eventually sent to Mali, a country a U.S. immigration judge ruled he could not be deported to.
In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security told 60 Minutes that Ghana had provided the U.S. with “diplomatic assurances for his safety.” DHS also questioned the credibility of Diawara’s arguments for fearing persecution in Mali. cbsn.ws/4etdVdW

Here’s what 60 minutes left on the cutting room floor, some of the most dangerous and violent criminals we’ve removed to third countries:
60 Minutes obtained the names of 63 people on a deportation flight from Texas to West Africa. Of the 19 people we reached who were sent to Ghana, 17 say Ghana then transported them against their will to their home countries — places U.S. immigration judges had ruled they should not be returned to.
A Department of Homeland Security lawyer told 60 Minutes he was not aware of cases in which Ghana had sent deportees home against their will. He also said he believes third-country removals have prevented crimes and made Americans safer. cbsn.ws/4yNhS4B

The 60 Minutes sob story tonight highlighted an illegal alien and his wife and two children.
One problem. The illegal alien claimed he was a HOMOSEXUAL in order to try and dodge deportation to Mali.
You literally cannot make this up.
This illegal alien is @60Minutes poster child for what it claims are wrongful deportations. I pulled his file. His claimed reason for fearing Mali was that he is “gay,” just in case you’re wondering how bad the immigration fraud problem is.
