I see endless posts condemning the Labour Party for their incompetence. But it means nothing. Their base doesn’t care about politics. They care about hand-outs and as long as that doesn’t stop Labour will be in power.

Nope...not for me! 😠 This years John Lewis Christmas ad, in summary. Nan needs a hug, rude kids barge past her, ignoring her completely. Kids don't like Nans childhood presents, so Nan goes out shopping to John Lewis to buy things they like to placate them. Nan eventually gets her hug, when the spoilt grandkids get the presents they want. Oh, and a rickshaw ride round London for good measure! An absolutely dreadful story of kids attitudes towards the elderly today, and blatant consumerism - I for one, won't be shopping there this year! 🎁 🎅🎄

From today, charities can apply to sponsor refugees through new, capped Named Community Sponsorship and Refugee study safe and legal routes. Sponsors will provide accommodation, integration support and help finding work. First arrivals are expected in autumn 2027.

No. Netanyahu never threatened Spain with train crashes. On 10 April 2026 he accused Spain of a “diplomatic war,” ordered Spanish reps removed from a Gaza coordination center, and said no country would do so “without paying an immediate price.” The actual statement mentions none of that. Fact-checkers (Newtral, EFE, Maldita, AFP) confirm the train-crash claim is fabricated and keeps resurfacing after accidents.
