Mabvuku Interchange is designed to improve traffic flow by expanding the road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes on each side, giving a total of 8 lanes.
Imimi murikuchema kuti the road is getting narrower, yet in fact, the road is being expanded. Road iyi yagara iri 2 lanes on each side. With this new interchange, each side rinenge rane 4 lanes: 2 lanes dzinenge dziripamusoro pe bridge, then dzimwe 2 dziripasi pe bridge.
How the 4 lanes on each side will work:
🔹 2 express lanes per side: These will carry through-traffic, allowing motorists to continue their journeys with fewer interruptions.
🔹 2 filtering lanes per side: These will channel vehicles towards Mabvuku, Epworth and town, separating traffic exiting towards these destinations from the express flow.
The whole idea is to separate traffic, reduce congestion and improve the movement of vehicles. Before criticizing the project, let’s first understand how it is designed to work. Progress sometimes requires us to look beyond what we see today and appreciate what is being built for tomorrow.

Betterbrands has delivered 91.8 tonnes of gold to Fidelity Gold Refinery between 2021 and September 2026 including 18.8 tonnes worth over US$1.9 billion in the first nine months of 2026 alone.

The agreement allows Cassava to give organisations across Africa another route to access these capabilities, helping them adopt AI technology more easily as they prepare for future growth.

It is always a pleasure to meet and interact with the brilliant young minds representing our great nation abroad. Yesterday, while in Russia for the third Russia-Africa Summit, I took the opportunity to continue our tradition of engaging with Zimbabwean students studying away from home.
Our students are the true ambassadors of Zimbabwe. During our heartfelt exchange at the Embassy in Moscow, I was deeply impressed by their dedication to academic excellence, especially in critical fields like engineering, medicine, science, and cutting-edge technology.
We had an open and constructive discussion where they raised important points regarding mutual recognition of qualifications, safety, and the availability of funds to propel start-ups. I reassured them that the Second Republic remains fully committed to supporting their welfare and creating a thriving environment for them.
As we march towards achieving an empowered, upper-middle-income society through Vision 2030, our goal is to integrate these highly skilled young specialists directly into our local production value chains. I urged them to focus on their studies, absorb global innovations, and ultimately bring that knowledge back home to build the Zimbabwe we all want.

There are certain areas that have been identified for regularisation, and not every illegal settlement is eligible. Mamwe ma areas are definitely going to get demolished ndo chokwadi, especially the ones ema land barons.

This is not for people who acquired land through land barons and assume their properties will automatically be regularised.
Do not panic. Take all your papers and go to Council. They will clarify your situation and help you establish whether your property qualifies for regularisation or is at risk of demolition.
