Binance + PolyMarket. I wonder how long until someone fires a criminal investigation against eMudhra. Lots of internal tools rely on TLS to talk securely and eMudhra has been blocking those tools from accessing their CRL. The timing is impecable.
‼️ BREAKING: PolymarkeT users were drained through its own website. A hijacked DebugBear monitoring script sold users' positions and sent ~$2.6M to one wallet. Polymarket halted trading and says victims will be made whole. The wallet has since been emptied.

I'm not saying that's the reason, and we've had high profile CVEs in the same week (Linux Kernel IPv4, PHP, Brotli). But some require human incompetence or malice, the others don't.

For the first time in a while, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB Framework Desktop configurations are all in-stock. We've seen demand increase for each capacity, in part because we have some of the most aggressive pricing available for this amount of memory.

Binance will cover all losses. As a precaution, all deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended while our team conducts security checks, freezes funds, and works with law enforcement. We are working around the clock and will share a full post-mortem once the investigation is complete. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates.

This sounds fake and click-baity, but if it actually happens then Accounts is going against GAAP as they're knowingly hiding losses from books. A broken-down machine must be registered as such instead of waiting the end of depreciation
There's a printer in our office that hasn't worked since 2021. Last month Facilities asked IT to dispose of it. Easy. Except company policy requires a signed Asset Disposal Authorization before any equipment can be removed. The authorization must be printed, signed by the department head, and attached to the equipment. I submitted the form. Finance rejected it. Reason: The printer still has a book value of $14.62. They can't write it off until the next depreciation cycle. Fine. We moved it to storage. Facilities rejected that because storage is reserved for operational equipment. It's not operational. "Then it needs to be disposed of." I explained Finance won't let us. Facilities said that was an IT issue. So I found a solution. I submitted a repair estimate. $480 to fix a printer worth $14.62. Finance rejected the repair because replacement would be more economical. I submitted a replacement request. Finance rejected it because we already have enough printers. I attached the rejection to the disposal form. Finance rejected that too. Last Friday an auditor asked why we had a broken printer sitting in the hallway. I explained the situation. He said leaving unused equipment in a hallway creates an asset management compliance risk. He recommended assigning someone to oversee it. My manager just informed me I'm now the official custodian of the printer. It's been broken for five years. It has no toner. It cannot print. But it has an owner, a depreciation schedule, and a quarterly compliance review. It has more job security than I do.

Imagine if the books said "we own this $50M building" Where's the building? Oh, it actually was destroyed during an earthquake but we're still waiting 48 years of depreciation it has left before crossing it off.

Qwen 3.8 27B is actually the most brilliant retarded model that I have ever used. 😅 It spends about 2/4 of its reasoning trace coming up with the most retarded ideas known to man, and then an additional 1/4 convincing itself that its ideas are completely retarded. It then manages, from the ashes of retardation, to arise towards the cleanest, most efficient, and bug-free implementation of any open-weight model of this size. It kinda works like American politics, in a way?!

‼️ Google won't fix an Android bug that lets one invisible text crash a phone's calling service, researcher Mark Blaszczyk says. So he just released the Proof-of-Concept! The malformed message never reaches the inbox and needs no user interaction. It drops active calls, emergency calls included. He says about 30 sent in a row corrupt the phone's SMS database, so a Pixel 9 or Samsung Galaxy crashes on every boot. A factory reset only helps until the carrier delivers the texts again. He reported it to Google on 5 May. Google closed it as "Won't Fix" and a "Non-Security Issue".

Since the @Apple Bug Bounty Program is by far the worst program I've ever hacked on, I am going to be dumping all of the data/POCs/report write ups etc for everything found during the 4 months of hacking them. This will include POCs for vulns that didnt meet their bar for a bounty so wasnt reported to them, so you may be able to find ways to escalate some of them. Ill be uploading the data all this weekend.

This is really interesting. All of OpenRouter's Deepseek demand (roughly 30% of total OR token traffic) could be satisfied by 5-10 GB300 NVL72 racks. Even if that 10x over the next year, it's 50-100 racks. NVIDIA is shipping 90k racks next year? What am I missing?
ok to put what i'm saying about demand in context openrouter is the most successful model router, you can almost serve 100% of their deepseek traffic yesterday on a single GB300 rack this is worth 6-7M...even if there's 10x this demand secretly that's still < 100M of compute
