Personally, I am going to be taking the position that if anything tragic happens to anyone who votes Democrat post 2026, I am not going to have any empathy for them or extend any sympathy to them because they will get what they voted for.
If you vote Democrat and your family member is killed by an illegal, just understand, that’s what you voted for so keep your sadness to yourself. If you vote Democrat and your family member is killed by a foreigner or Islamic terrorist, I don’t want to hear you crying and asking for prayers when it happens, because I’m not going to cry for you or pray for you.

I would find out from the parents if even after giving that money would they find themselves in this boat 12 months down the line? Maybe it would be better to buy the house from them and use that money as a down payment and then just charge them rent so one day the house ends up being yours and could be given to your children or used as a rental for income.
