@CaldwellCCBase1 represent!! Many paths to the top of the Mountain; yet all paths require Perseverance @TDeaton_22

2027 RHP/IF @zackfutchugv of @AHS_Cats shows a lot of promise from a low 3/4 slot delivered from an average release height of 4.2 ft (a little lower than the 4.7 we saw in June). He's not a true @SideArmNation arm yet, but after working with former subby @maxmull5 at the Smoky Mountain Scout Day on 8/23, Hogsed is intrigued about finding the slot that works best for his stuff, somewhere between very low 3/4 and true sidearm. Mull taught him a sinker grip that he picked up on pretty quick and would be very helpful at creating more groundballs from his already-low to the ground release. 4seam FB was 76-78mph w/ a slight uptick on spin (2112 max, up from 2086 in June). Avg IVB/HB improved: 11.6/6.2 (was 9.1/5.9 in June). Velo on the CB was 64-65 MPH; a little slower than the 67-69 we saw in June, but with much more spin now: 2225 Max/2154 Avg, way up from the 2116/2000 we saw in June. Spins on the Cutter were up to 2257, up from 2161 in June. Still sitting 71-72 MPH with it. 2 Seamer/Sinker was 71-72, IVB/HB 3.9/-0.2 with a 2:03 tilt. Spins were 1774-1810. As Hogsed finds his slot, he'll need to find the pitches that best serve him. I see low 8s coming soon. I see the potential to develop into an interesting arm to add to a diversified college bullpen. 60 Yd Dash time was much improved, down to 7.19 (was 7.7 in June). EVs at the plate were a max of 85, avg of 84mph, slightly up from the 85/82 we saw in June. Still barring his front arm but to not as much of a degree, but swing had more action this time. Wiry 5'10" 150 projecting best on the mound, but shows athletic actions in all aspects. Good Juco Route prospect as he's interested in the Vocations/Trades @NovaXkinetics

This Sunday's 1st ever Smoky Mountain Scout Day is shaping up to be something special for the 1A/2A prospects hiding in the furthest western pockets of our WNC Mountains The objective is to educate the SMC players on the truths of college recruiting relative to their region, introduce them to some advanced Player Development opportunities, and provide them with the Film & Metrics they'll need to foster effective communication with College Coaches We will have a great staff at @jacketsbbt828 that day including: ⚾ Pitching and Biometrics expert @NovaXkinetics, ⚾ WNCs best hitting instructor Mitchell Whitener, and ⚾@TusculumBSB Coach @maxmull5 (former @NB_BlackhawkBSB ) Spots still open, give me a call to register
