The church should be the only organization that exists for the sake of its non-members.

Culture moves on with alarming disregard for how you set up your organization last year or last decade.
That's why you must lead with vision, not control.

It had always been a dream of mine to get in the water that Jesus was baptised in by my hero John the Baptist. The story is so amazing, & it seems wherever Jesus went, that new birth, new life, a new vision followed. Luke (in the bible) was probably a Syrian doctor before he met Jesus. He writes a reliable, poignant account of his life. It’s short. I like it. #adventure #life #nevergiveup

In parish programs, the conventional approach often looks like "come and learn".
What if the focus was on leading people to deeper discipleship, equipping them to share their faith and witnessing to others? More people will catch the fire of faith!

The reason change is so difficult in many churches is that members fall in love with methods, not with the mission.

Last month, we had the blessing of speaking to parish leaders in @arlingtonchurch about reorienting our model of leadership to enable mission.
We are so excited to see the fruit that the Holy Spirit will bring about in these missionary parishes! 🙏🏻
