I Started the year with one goal, a new car. Now standing here with it, and it honestly feels surreal. I’m so grateful for the journey and for the support from @FreyBennet that helped make it happen. Best part? It’s fully paid off. ☺️🚗

Hit a major milestone yesterday, I crossed $70,000 in daily trading earnings. Crazy to think how far I’ve come. Having the right mentor in my corner definitely changed the way I approach trading. Appreciate you, @FreyBennet I’m excited about the progress I’ve made.

Nurses deserve to be appreciated and respected by their employers and our government. They deserve a better deal.

Agree. Healthcare is an ecosystem and we need whole system reform. This is not a failure of any single government—it is a failure of all of them. We need a new approach, which includes fully transparent independent oversight.
B.C. emergency departments are the canary in the coal mine of healthcare.
The crisis we are seeing in E.R is a reflection of failures in multiple areas of healthcare delivery, from primary and speciality care access to long term care access.
We are now down to a "whack-a-mole approach" to ER staffing where emergency and family doctors are working where they get the highest renumeration.
Healthcare is a continuum of care. So trying to address one issue without adressing all the others, will not fix the crisis we are now seeing in B.C.'s emergency rooms.

What happens to a good person in a bad system? They work harder, they innovate, they advocate. And then they break. And then they leave.
Hospital crowding:
We are causing moral injury to front-line healthcare workers and causing patients to suffer. The system needs to be fixed. @raghu_venugopal @alandrummond2

“It’s a myth that these shortages are unavoidable. System conditions drive the problem.”
Grateful to be included in this important conversation with the @CMA_Docs. Summer ER closures aren’t inevitable—they reflect deeper system challenges that deserve attention. Thanks for highlighting this issue. cma.ca/about-us/news/system-…

☀️ Summer means more time outside and more opportunities for tick exposure.
This short guide highlights the key things parents and caregivers should know about ticks, including prevention, safe removal, early signs of #LymeDisease, and when to seek medical care.
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Katie Gardner from the CAEP #Pediatric EM Section.

So...will those residents who could not access the most basic, necessary care (timely EMERGENCY services) be getting a tax refund🤔?! Unacceptable.

Could you imagine trying to do your job with 75% less resources and capacity? Because that's what our colleagues in Alberta are dealing with right now.
Thank you @CAEP_Docs for this honour and for the incredible work you are doing in drawing attention to dangerous overcrowding in our hospitals and ERs and advancing evidence-based solutions.

“In just four days of job action, health authorities requested more than 40,000 hours of nurse overtime. Nearly 9 in 10 requests were simply to reach baseline staffing levels”
I support @BCNursesUnion and BC nurses! Thank you for taking a stand 💪

Beyond time to address this issue. ED overcrowding can lead to long wait times, and are certainly inconvenient for anyone, but what concerns healthcare providers is the safety risk and adverse events that older adults experience because of that overcrowding.

A great interview from @KaylaFurlong about the root causes of ED waits, and the downstream effects on all our patients, and especially our older and most vulnerable population. Strong advocacy from a great Newfoundland leader in the geriatric emergency space!
I joined @CBCNL The Morning Show today to discuss the impacts of ED overcrowding on older adults; time to declare it a public health/patient safety emergency!
