We Democrats, we are the party of FDR and John Lewis. The party that created Social Security, expanded voting rights & civil rights, and championed the dignity of every individual.
If we want to lead this country again, we need to do more than oppose Trump, we need to stand FOR that profound legacy & carry it forward.

🚨 An Oklahoma City cop kidnapped, assaulted, and held his girlfriend at gunpoint as he raped her. He’s already been convicted — now we get to see whether the system actually punishes its own.

“He raped me.”
“Donald J Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.”
“She was found with her head ‘blown off’… there was no way it was a suicide.”
…describing a child victim, pulled from the Epstein files, of which Trump is still uncharged and actively covering up.

Opposing Medicare for All is supporting the deaths of 114,000 Americans per year, wasting $1 trillion per year, and forcing millions of Americans into debt to enrich the super-wealthy.
Supporting the exploitation of the working class is an extremist position.

⚠️ Did you know 40% of partners married to cops are abused by them? And every time it happens, the badge becomes a shield for the aggressor, not the victim.

Here's MS NOW reporter @gardnerakayla describing her arrival at the White House this morning. Her badge didn't work. "The officer asked me to hand over my badge. He said that it was disabled. I asked why I was not able to get inside. He said it was above him."

Republicans never talk about the fraudsters Trump has pardoned. Philip Esformes, the largest health care fraudster in U.S. history at $1.3 billion, had his sentence commuted. Trump runs crypto scams.
His kids get government contracts and Russian oligarchs paying for wedding after parties. This is why Americans associate the word "corrupt" with the Republican Party now. The hypocrisy is staggering.

The members of the press who still attend the White House press briefings, instead of staying away in solidarity with CNN, MSNow and Politico are cowards and complicit in Trump’s attack on the First Amendment.

Congress has not worked enough days in 2026 to qualify for SNAP, just in case you were curious who was actually sponging off our tax dollars.

Every bowl of food means another day of safety for the cats at our shelter. Seeing them gather to eat like this brings me joy, but also reminds me how much they depend on us every single day.
Please, friends, help us keep their bowls full.🙏🇵🇸

Our deliberate obliteration of the Cuban health care system and economy has led to a major outbreak of dengue fever and chikungunya — which is now surging in Florida because diseases do not stay put.
We shouldn’t need a selfish reason to not punish an entire civilian population, but it’s worth understanding that we are also harming ourselves when we do it.
Florida has become a hotbed for mosquito-borne diseases, reporting hundreds of cases of dengue fever, chikungunya fever, and even West Nile virus. sun-sentinel.com/2026/09/16/…

Maria Elvira Salazar voted against the Biden infrastructure bill, then showed up at Miami City Hall to present a check from the federal government from the infrastructure bill.
I asked her about it.
She’s the same Republican who voted to fund ICE and now released a video opposing Trump’s immigration policies.

I see the Democrat who rammed NAFTA through Congress, deregulated Wall Street, destroyed the working class, cheered the Iraq War, killed the public option, helped create conditions for epic Dem losses, cashed in on Wall Street, benefited from his mayoral administration’s coverup of a police murder of a teenager…I see this same person has now logged on and has opinions.
Now that he won’t stop talking, the folks who told us Hasan Piker is a serious voice who should be listened to ought to let us know which of these positions we’re supposed to take seriously:
1. That “pound for pound,” America is worse than al-Qaeda - a ridiculous statement on a normal day, but particularly vile the same week we’re reflecting on the loss of 3,000 Americans on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
2. That Communist China’s repressive regime is the “model” for America.
3. That Mao was “a great man of history” while the collapse of the Soviet Union was "one of the greatest catastrophes of the 20th century."
The great thing about America is that everyone is entitled to their opinions and free to express them, however dumb or immoral. That includes ‘Comrade’ Piker. The rest of us are just as free - obligated even - to call out this vile, hateful speech that only divides America.
