Anyone who thinks algebra is useless or a jewish conspiracy is too profoundly retarded to be president.
Top choices for America’s next president: -Thomas Massie -Tucker Carlson -Dan Bilzerian -Joe Kent If all four ran in 2028, who gets your vote?

I remember everything being shut down for months, blue states were shut down for years.
There was never a lockdown anywhere in America. You were never forced to stay in your house. At most, you were really inconvenienced for a month, and had to adjust to things being a little different for a while
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
During 2020, 42 US states and territories issued stay-at-home orders, affecting 73% of US counties worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings…. Violations of these emergency orders were legally enforceable and resulted in citations and arrests propublica.org/article/restri…

The Lindsay Clancy case is an analogy for western leadership as a whole. 9 crazy women. 2 pushover men. 1 single man of conviction holding the line.

Going to the gym is 100% surrogate activity. Chop wood, build stuff, landscaping, or literally any other productive activity to get in shape.
Gym is the most unproductive activity out there You spend over 500 hours a year to get a mere 5 pounds of muscle if you’re lucky After 5 years you have a nice physique but wasted 2500 productive hours which you could’ve used on making a million dollars or getting a PhD That’s why traditional approaches fail. No adult with agency can afford to invest so much with so little upside But if you train hard&smart you can end up in the same place for 1/4 of the time which is why it amazes me that guys choose to spend more than 3 hours a week in the gym

Finding the Higgs was not a paradigm shift in physics. It's experimental confirmation of the standard model that was developed in the 60s and 70s.
Finding the Higgs was pretty big.

Speed limits are good. Registration and seatbelt laws are bad.
Either speed limits are good or they are not. You shouldn't change your mind about them because the govt gets better at enforcing them.
55
unless you think speed limits should literally be abolished, opposing automated speeding tickets is saying "i want the law to only be enforced at random and extremely inefficiently"
Here is what is coming with Flock Automated Speeding Tickets Automated Tag Expired Tickets Automated Seatbelt Tickets Per Mile Traveled Tax Automated Kill Switch Connected to you car And much, much worse.

MM-DD-YYYY is wrong. DD-MM-YYYY is wrong. Try ordering a spreadsheet by date column with either of those formats and you’ll soon understand why YYYY-MM-DD is the only correct format. Wake up, people!

The name Lake Ontario is probably dead for good. If the left retakes power they aren't going to just change the name back, they'll re-rename it Lake Yamchumquch or some other obscure and ugly sounding Indian word that no one likes. They won't miss the chance to spit on history. They'll then all instantly pretend this is what everyone always called it, and act like Lake America was an interruption of this historical norm. Wikipedia will read "from 2026-29, Trump tried to force Lake Yamchumquch to be referred to as 'Lake America', violating long spread respect of indigenous names and sparking widespread outcry." They'll be zero mention of Lake Ontario ever again at any point in all this, outside of a footnote about obscure forgotten colonial names that weren't correct. Smart kids will ask about it in elementary school, and their teachers will genuinely insist they always called it Yamchumquch and 'Lake Ontario' was never in widespread use. So it's a fight between a Lake America future and that one now.
