Humorous how wrong this is Judging FE slop as incorrect is obvious— you need to know what to expect, which is basically telling AI “it should look like…” and it usually fixes it
one of the most underrated asymmetries right now is that slop is totally fine for the backend and basically fatal in the frontend. if you’re backend is slop, the app still works. if your front end and overall experience is slop, the *product* does not.

Judging BE slop on the other hand, “endpoint latency is an order of magnitude out of spec, that caching layer should be doing… and the data stream should be a binary stream instead of sending json, and…” You have to already be a good BE engineer in order to prompt AI correctly

Jokes on you we solder ram to the SOC now
Make sure to lock your doors tonight, or Sam Altman might sneak into your house and steal the RAM out of your MacBook Pro.

Somebody tell the Zuck
Full details of a remotely exploitable vulnerability in the core engine of *all* PHP versions will be released tomorrow, October 21st. If your organization has internet facing PHP applications then you need to be ready to patch the minute the update is released or *strongly* consider taking the application offline until you can: php.net/index.php#2026-10-20…
