This is an alarming statistic 👇 and an important read. Nutrition Specialist Nurses have a critical role in supporting education and delivery of safe and effective nutritional care. They are highly valued within teams where they are present. #roomforimprovement
GIRFT have recently published a new Gastroenterology Report. Of particular relevance is that the report found that 25% of Trusts had no dedicated nutrition specialist nurses.

My surgery staff are at their wits end. Due to the blood bottle shortage having to cancel ‘non urgent’ tests. When our staff call patients they are getting abuse & anger directed at them. This is NOT our fault.
