Don't ever quit like me. (it sucks) Earlier this week... I was reading a biography of a famous entrepreneur. One particular chapter stood out to me... It was about the early days of his career when he was struggling to get his startup off the ground. Despite the long hours and relentless challenges... He stuck with it. Even when every fiber of his being wanted to give up... He did not give up. It got me thinking about the time when I quit. I’ve been building my personal brand for almost six months now. And it hasn’t been a smooth ride to say the least. In the beginning, I didn't even know what I wanted. For the first 3 months: ➫ I was a Dan Koe copycat ➫ Tried every viral hack (bait) ➫ Used ChatGPT for content (kill me) If I didn’t feel like writing or engaging with my audience... I wouldn’t. I didn't want to force myself. The idea of a burnout scared me. Reading this biography reminded me of something... Successful people push through even when they don’t feel like it. Mike Tyson famously said... "Discipline is doing what you hate to do, but do it like you love it" That quote changed everything for me. I decided to commit to my goals regardless of my fucking feelings. I started showing up every single day. ➫ Creating content ➫ Engaging with my fans ➫ Working on my giveaway At first, it felt like shit. There were moments when I questioned myself. "Is this worth it?" But I kept pushing through by saying this to myself... Build a life you won't regret. Build a life you won't regret. Build a life you won't regret. And then it happened. I began to see changes. Shit content β†’ Engaging content Shit followers β†’ Engaging fans Shit me β†’ Good shit me The more I persisted, the more momentum I gained. It went from: Forced effort β†’ Habit β†’ Passion Six months in, I can confidently say that it is an absolute fact that... "You can do what you need to do, even if you don’t feel like it. " If you’re building something, remember this... Don’t wait for the perfect moment or the right feeling. Start now, do the work, and stay consistent. Take actionable steps every day and it'll work out. To anyone reading this and struggling with staying consistent... YOU ARE NOT ALONE. The creators you love and adore so much... They were in the same shoes as us. The difference? They.Never.Gave.Up. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Thank you for reading. I was stuck under 130 followers. It took me 45 days to get out of that hell. But in the last 7 days, I: β–Έ Got 65 new fans β–Έ Get 400+ impressions per post β–Έ Get 20+ likes and comments per post Here are the 3 biggest mistakes I made as a beginner: βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ I was a copycat (eww I know) βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ I started to copy the big fishes. I didn't steal but I didn't iterate on it as well. I was hungry for followers so... I decided to try the "viral formats." The result? β–Έ Lackluster posts β–Έ Walmart version of the original content β–Έ Being like every other growth guru out there. I was thinking that maybe I wasn't being smart enough. But the actual reason was I didn't know how to: β–Έ Hook properly β–Έ Play with emotion β–Έ Be authentic Of course, I didn't realize it back then. So I thought, let me engage more. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Engaging like a dumbass βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ I fell into the trap of engaging mindlessly. I thought as long as I kept commenting, People are bound to notice me. So, I left comments like: β–Έ W bro β–Έ FACTS β–Έ ChatGPT comments (I know, I cringed too) Funnily enough more people did come to my profile. Here's what I got from those: β–Έ 0 fans β–Έ Low-quality followers β–Έ Karen (bots) My delulu brain still thought I was doing the right things. Since I am getting more profile visits right now, The problem must be with my profile. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Profile "Optimization" βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ I take a look at my profile and think, This shit already looks fire. (I had a full Dan Koe black theme going on at that time) You know what would be more fire? Adding red to it. So, I added red to it and called myself a... "Value Writer" A value writer who used to: β–Έ Post platitudes β–Έ Post How "you" instead of How "I" β–Έ Post ChatGPT explained quotes (I'm sorry) Not only that, I was being a whole smartass in my bio. This was my bio: The Value Writer (value = "I did this shit and it works") + Building a personal brand and spilling the tea for you guys I like pizza (understatement) Give me a minute I'm still cringing. Lies, lies, and lies. The only true thing here is the fact that I do love pizza. A few other taboos I committed: β–Έ Confusing username ( _faisalwrites__) β–Έ Following-follow ratio over 0.6 β–Έ Not being me. Of course, there are also several other mistakes I made as a beginner. For example, not creating systems. But that's a topic for another time. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Well, that was a cringefest. In the end, just make sure to be YOU. I swear that's the most important thing. When I started being true to myself, Everyone and everything started to accept And appreciate me for who I am. That's the essence of a Personal Brand. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ€°πŸ»β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Hope you got value reading this. If you like me now then: 1. Follow 2. Retweet if you love pizza as well. 3. Check out @ItsMeBenChan to be a GIGACHAD 4. Note down these mistakes Love you guys for the support.

I have an advantage over the big dogs. And so do you. Why? Because we're still small. Which means we are allowed to fail multiple times. This is how I plan to fail: β–Έ Dumb ideas β–Έ Dumb tactics β–Έ Dumb ways to stand out All of these are dumb. Until one day it isn't. That one day, it becomes a trend. And I become a "Trend Setter" βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ In short, in an era of viral hacks, Don't forget to be yourself. Or else... You'll drown yourself in the crowd. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ€°πŸ»β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Hope you had fun reading this. If you like me then: 1. Follow 2. Retweet if you love pizza as well. Love you guys for the support.

It's simple. He made Friends, not Followers. Here are his 7 secrets that make him stand out from the rest:

I went from 120 ➠ 150 fans in 3 days. But it took me 40 days to reach 120 followers. So why did the 𝕏 Gods bless me? Was it because: β–Έ I posted 69 times a day? β–Έ I commented 6900 times a day? β–Έ I created 69 fake accounts to engage with myself? I wish I had that volume. But I am lazy asf. So, I just did one thing. I started gaining fans instead of followers. Here’s the tea: βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Relatable Content ➠ Fans βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Suppose I randomly just handed you 6900 followers. Would you be happy with that? If you said yes, you shouldn't be. If you said NICE. Then my man! Jokes apart, 6900 followers might give you impressions. But those people won't give a rat's ass about who you are. Or what content you put out. The result? β–Έ No engagement β–Έ No friends β–Έ No fans We are building a personal brand here. For that to succeed we need a community. A community where people genuinely care about you And what you have to offer. That's the people in your comments and DMs. So, that's what I did. I found my people. But how? βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ The Good ol' Engaging βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Knock Knock! Who's there? 𝕏. 𝕏 Who? The Social Media Platform. Clear enough right? The more you engage, the more eyeballs you get. And if you're genuinely being yourself, You find people who: β–Έ Have a similar vision to yours. β–Έ Have a similar vibe to yours. β–Έ Love Pizza (must) Here's how I and all the other rising stars do it: β–Έ 100 genuine comments a day β–Έ 25 before and after each post That's it. I swear this shit works like magic. Now, something I have not been doing. DMs. Dms >>>> Comments Is what all the gurus say. So, I'm getting on that train soon. Hop in if you want. No script, no selling. Just two people being buds. That is what truly matters. Next up, PEDs. βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Engagement on steroids βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Now, this is something not a lot of gurus talk about. Doing steroids. But in this case, the only side effects are: β–Έ New communities β–Έ New friends β–Έ New secrets Here’s how to do it. You now have a bunch of 𝕏 friends. And some of your big friends have their own group. They are usually an invite-only group. If you made a genuine connection with them. You can ask them about it. Or better they'll just straight up invite you. Now, you have a place where everyone helps and supports each other. A friendly reminder: You'll never grow on your own. Oh and here's a bonus ;) βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Bonus: Learning from the rising stars βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ•β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ What did we just learn from the previous point? You can't grow alone. That applies to your ideation as well. Yes, authenticity is #1 when it comes to building a personal brand. But that does not mean you can't take inspiration. And who better to take inspiration from than the rising stars of 𝕏 today? So, I studied them. I studied how they: β–Έ Optimized their profile β–Έ Did their engaging β–Έ Made their content I'm not the one to gatekeep. So, if you want to know these secrets, send me a pizza. Or just comment if you want it as a giveaway ;) βœ¦β”€β”€β”€β”€ πŸ€°πŸ»β”€β”€β”€β”€βœ¦ Hope you had fun reading this. If you like me then: 1. Follow (I'm on a 3-day streak of gaining 10 fans every day) 2. Retweet if you love pizza as well. Love you guys for the support.

TikTok is getting banned in the US. (most probably) It currently has over 150 million users in the US. The parent company is being told to sell or face a ban. Here's what a potential ban could mean for it's creators:
