got bored tonight and came across this tribute song for #ASEAN2026, so I quickly tried putting together something inspired by it

if you do get the rare chance to be close to a public figure or their loved ones and that results to some form of privilege such as an inside look into their lives or information not yet for public consumption, you have a responsibility to keep those private.
lalo na if you learned about those unwittingly, like another source telling you your idols' whereabouts or their secrets - lalong lalo na pag ganun.
you cannot control the action of who you heard it from or who started it, but you can control yours. make sure the buck stops with you.
i do not know enough context to comment specifically on the supposed stalking issue, but i do know this:
when public figures have to remind people to respect their privacy, may pinanghuhugutan yan. even if veiled as a friendly reminder, there is a reason why they felt the need to say that.
their private lives do not cease to exist because they are public figures. fans play a big part in the success of idols, but it does not give the right to let them be when they need their private time.
a decent fan and human being should understand boundaries - no excuses.

a good fan knows boundaries. a good fan respects her idol's privacy. a good fan would not do something that could harm her idol's safety. a good fan knows the line between being supportive and being a weird stalker. a good fan should know the line between love and obsession. a good fan will protect her idol's peace, not ruin it.
