For the first time in American history, a judge has had to order the President of the United States to stop threatening election officials. Nixon did far less and was forced to resign. So this is where the American political system is now.

Astonishing. The hands, the expressions, the tone, the projection… He should get a Daytime Emmy for his impersonation—if you can get those in prison.

Proud and grateful that Ukraine has a friend like you, José. Thank you to you and the entire World Central Kitchen team for the warmth of your dishes and hearts.
As the great people of Oleshky arrived to Ukraine after a long trip @WCKitchen lead by Yuliya is ready with borscht, and many other Ukranian dishes! The route was long: from Oleshky through Crimea to Anapa in Russia, then a flight to Belarus and onward by road into Chernihiv region. After a journey like that, warm, good food matters a great deal. #ChefsForUkraine Proud that the teams were first in Irpin and Bucha, in Kherson….so many special powerful moments! now here…Ukrainians are the best of us!

2,665 CHILDREN DEPORTED TO COUNTRIES THAT WEREN'T THEIR OWN. That's what an analysis of ICE records found between January 2025 and March 2026. 601 were sent to Panama. 380 to El Salvador. 331 to Colombia. 299 to Mexico.f 224 to Canada. The records identify destinations different from the children's recorded citizenship. BUT HERE'S WHAT WE STILL DON'T KNOW: How many were unaccompanied? How many were sent under third-country deportation agreements? And what safeguards ensured they were received safely? The records don't answer those questions. Meanwhile, The Marshall Project reports more than 22,000 child deportation events through August 6, 2026. THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN. MULTIPLE DESTINATIONS. WHERE IS THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTING OF WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?

Trump’s Florida rally is off to a great start: TRUMP: I did not marry my sister. I had two lovely -- I have one left. Elizabeth. She's great. But I have not -- I never proposed to them. They’re beautiful, but I was never -- I was never particularly attracted to either of them. It's not my deal.

A guy has paid $1,100 for his iPhone and has installed every single update for 7 years. Last Monday, a notification popped up: iOS 27.2. He tapped “Update Now,” watched the progress bar crawl, put the phone down, and went back to scrolling Instagram. That was his entire iOS 27.2 experience. Update installed. Nothing changed. Nothing explored. Nothing configured. Two days later, at a family dinner, his cousin, a former Apple Genius Bar tech who spent 6 years fixing and configuring iPhones for a living, glanced at his screen and quietly said: “You just installed the biggest update of the entire iOS 27 cycle, and you changed zero settings.” “What do you mean?” His cousin took the phone and started talking: “Siri now remembers your past conversations, and you never checked which apps it’s allowed to read. Messages now suggests actions above your keyboard, and you never chose which ones stay on. Every photo you edit with Extend, Reframe, or a large Clean Up now carries a hidden AI watermark, and you had no idea. Your Apple TV app finally supports profiles, and your kid’s cartoons are still wrecking your recommendations. Your HomePod still starts playing every time your cat walks across the top of it. Your smart lock can alert you when the door is left open, and you’ve never turned it on. And you’re running a build that patches more than 160 security vulnerabilities, so for every day you waited, you left them open.” He didn’t say a word. “It’s not that the update is small. It’s that Apple ships the features but leaves every switch on default. Nobody tells you where the switches are.” He took the phone back, opened Settings, and changed 9 things in 10 minutes. His reaction: “It feels like I just bought a new phone.” His cousin’s answer: “You didn’t buy anything. You’ve been using your iPhone through a keyhole. iOS 27.2 just handed you the door.” Here’s every iOS 27.2 feature and setting worth changing, in the exact order he did it 🧵

🚨A self-styled South Carolina MAGA “pastor” who accused Obama of being a p*dophile and Joe Biden of being a “s*xual predator” has been arrested for allegedly r*ping a child under the age of 11 on numerous occasions. Tracy Gordon Black, 64, of Pelzer, was arrested on four counts of first-degree criminal s*xual conduct with a minor under 11 (sexual battery under South Carolina law), plus third-degree s*xual exploitation of a minor and possession of visual depictions of a minor engaged in s*xual activity. He’s being held without bond. The charges stem from alleged assaults on the same child under 11 and possession of child s*xual abuse material (including doctored images). The investigation remains active. Black is a self-proclaimed pastor who led an independent outdoor worship group (also called Mobile Outreach Ministry, Mercy Outreach Ministry, or Sabbath In the Park/Sabbath In The Dark) that met at Mineral Springs Park in Williamston. Earlier this year he publicly defended the group after it was revealed a registered s*x offender was participating in the services; the park was temporarily closed amid protests. He told officials they were simply “trying to offer the love Jesus Christ offered.” A Facebook account confirmed to belong to Black (Bigdeck Black) has previously shared a thoroughly debunked 2017 fake-news story claiming WikiLeaks proved Obama ran a p*dophile ring out of the White House. Black also promoted The Turner Diaries (the neo-Nazi novel by National Alliance founder William Pierce) as a banned book that “predicted the future,” posted QAnon material (WWG1WGA), and shared conspiracy claims about missing-children milk cartons being a “satanic cabal” advertising kids to p*dophiles—along with the usual MAGA historical revisionism insinuating Lincoln is worse than with Hitler. A man who spent years amplifying baseless p*dophile conspiracies about political opponents is now facing serious charges involving a child under 11. The hypocrisy writes itself. It’s the same story, over and over again.

HOLY SHIT!! My 6 year old grandson said he wanted to be a Ninja Turtle for Halloween, and then stay a Ninja Turtle. So, his mom and I called his school and asked if they could do trans-species surgery instead of transgender surgery on him Monday. They're going to call George Soros to get the funding. And we already filed to change his name to Dino-tello. And we also requested the government to allow him to live at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with all the algae. Yeah, that's how fucking stupid you MAGA morons sound when you believe @realDonaldTrump and his school transgender surgery bullshit.

The level of betrayal here is breathtaking and beyond disgraceful. This is murder. And Markwayne Mullin should be charged as an accessory.
We have a loved one scheduled to be on this flight. He will be killed if he’s returned to the Taliban. He supported the US mission in Afghanistan. He has broken no laws. He came here legally. Seeking asylum should not be a death sentence.

NEW FOIA FILES is out! Ok so this is interesting? Last month, I obtained a memo signed by AG Todd Blanche that was sent to all federal agencies that advised officials how they should implement Trump's EO designating English as the "official" language of the US. The memo said some agencies, such as the Departments of Homeland Security, Treasury and Education scrubbed their websites of non-English language materials. Well... last week, Blanche revised his memo and sent a new version to agencies. I obtained a copy. English is now not only the "official" language of the US, Blanche wrote, it is now the "sole official language." One thing that Blanche added that wasn't in the previous version of his memo: the DOJ will seek public comments on the English Language guidance. Blanche noted, however, that the DOJ will not respond to public comments.” You gotta read this week's FOIA Files for the full story. There's a lot more. As always, it's free! Cake: Part Deux! It’s done! Not sure how I feel about this one. I learned some things though! 1/ making chocolate covered espresso beans is harder than it looks. 2/ eating a dozen of said beans is no bueno if you need a steady hand to decorate! 🤣
This week's cake is a chocolate lover's dream! I am making this one as a treat for Mr. Pudds. This weekend is his sober-versary! Course he said he didn't want to celebrate so I had to make him a cake and tell 128K of my friends! ;) Five layers of dark chocolate sponge cake. Chocolate mocha buttercream. This is the crumb coat. Second icing coat going on now. The "plan" (yeah, fuck that I never have a plan!) is to cover the entire thing in chocolate ganache then decorate it with the same buttercream and chocolate covered coffee beans! Follow along for updates through Saturday!

“Corporations are people,” was the lie corporations told so a conservative Supreme Court would let them buy elections. It’s time to overturn Citizens United.
Corporate spending on the midterms has ballooned to $737 MILLION. That's 60% higher than the 2024 presidential election. Corporations are spending unprecedented amounts to buy influence, determine outcomes and shape policy. We must get corporate money out of politics.
