BREAKING: The co-pilot killed in the fiery Florida Learjet crash has been identified as a 20-year-old aviation prodigy who earned her pilot's license before she could legally drive.
Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras was aboard the private jet when it suddenly plunged into a South Florida neighborhood Sunday, erupting into a massive fireball and killing all nine people on board.
The aspiring airline pilot earned her wings at just 17 while still attending high school in Palm Beach County.
Investigators are now examining the deadly crash after the flight crew reported icing and turbulence before losing altitude.

The FAA says nine people were on board, flying from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. Instead of a vacation, the jet dropped from cruising altitude almost straight down and exploded into a mobile home park just before 1 p.m. Reports say none of the nine survived. Nine families woke up expecting a trip to paradise, and tonight they’re getting the worst call of their lives. The NTSB is now trying to figure out what went so wrong, so fast.

The plane, believed to be a Learjet 60 that took off from Austin, Texas, crashed just before 2 p.m. Sunday in Greenacres, west of West Palm Beach. Flight tracking data shows it was cruising at more than 35,000 feet before it suddenly plunged almost straight down. It clipped a tree, took out power lines, and hit a mobile home, leaving a fireball and a crater in the ground. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue declared a mass casualty incident. No one knows yet how many people were on the plane or if anyone was inside that home. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating what caused it.
