Rose Lubin, 20, from Atlanta, immigrated to Israel alone for two years.
She enlisted in the Border Police, served as a fighter, and on October 7, she went out with a gun to the entrance gate of Kibbutz Sa'ad in the enclave where she lived, to prevent terrorists from entering.
"She told about the horrors, but demanded to return," Rose said.
"Generations have dreamed of reaching Jerusalem, we have the honor of protecting it," she said this year at a fundraising event for Jerusalem.
Rose was murdered in a terrorist attack in the city she loved so much - Jerusalem.
