1/6 🎓🔬 I'm thrilled to share our new working paper. We find evidence that stock markets are starting to react to key climate litigation by devaluing the stocks of defending Carbon Majors.

Low-carbon jobs fell after Cameron’s kibosh on ‘green crap’ policies – study theguardian.com/environment/…
📢We have a new report out! We explore: What constitutes a low-carbon job? What skills are important for workers transitioning from high to low carbon jobs? Are low carbon jobs better paid? Where are they located? lse.ac.uk/granthaminstitute/…
📌 Low-carbon jobs are concentrated in occupations that pay higher wages. When comparing wages within occupational groups, low-carbon jobs often paid a positive wage premium in the earlier half of the 2010s, but this wage gap largely eroded in more recent years in the US and UK.
📌This lack of a positive wage premium in recent years despite these jobs having higher skill requirements is problematic for attracting workers into low-carbon jobs.
