'Green City: Healing and Hope' explores the #grassroots movement to turn #Edinburgh green. How are we doing after 900 years as a burgh? Hear directly from people and places who think global and act local π

How is this acceptable? Just watched a lady with a pram and a toddler struggling to get past this van on Thirlesyane Road @Edinburgh_CC
"Listening to the recent debates, youβd think that bringing English water companies back into public ownership was some kind of radical socialist idea. Guess what? Thatβs just normal life here in Edinburgh" says @devisridhar. Amen to that.

Saying hello to one of my favourite #veteran #trees, a Spanish Chestnut in the grounds of the #AstleyAinslie #hospital in #Edinburgh.
A beautiful pale swallowtail #butterfly enjoying some wild #scabious like flowers spotted on our hike today #California2026
Such a pity the #AstleyAinslie #hospital #Edinburgh has closed to #inpatients who can no longer enjoy the signs and scents of #Spring popping up everywhere π’
Hugely disappointing #herbology #exhibition @TheBotanics #Edinburgh. What is there is interesting but it's tiny. It's being advertised as a significant exhibition but you can see the whole thing in just a few minutes.
Delighted to have started my Level 2 Instructor course with such a great group. Special thanks to our tutor Ian Cannon @ictennis , Anna Myatt @tennisscotland and @the_LTA for their support.
Can't remember the last time we left from #Ardrossan. So much more convenient than #Troon if you are going to #Arran. And it's lovely to be back on the Cally Isles with doors you can actually open to get out on deck. She's been sorely missed these past 20 months!
I'm at #Edinburgh #airport where one of the flight announcers seems to have abandoned the #phonetic #alphabet in favour of their own version....they have just called 'A as in #aeroplane' and then called 'B as in #blue'. Now we are hearing 'C as in #captain'. What comes next? π€£
Look what the postie has just delivered π. Going to make myself a cuppa and dive in. Looking forward to exploring @BroomfieldKeith new #book about #nature and #wildlife in my favourite #city #Edinburgh. Published by @TippermuirBooks.
Never seen so many #RedAdmirals in the garden #butterflies.
Four #British #men contested the final of the #CanadianOpen and not a mention on the @BBCSport #tennis webpages! #BacktheBrits π¬π§

The #AstleyAinslie #hospital in #Edinburgh is home to many mature #trees of high amenity value which have a long natural life expectancy like this #Turkeyoak. These trees are supposedly protected by a #TPO covering the whole site. Please comment on the planning application π
