Hey @united please give me back my cancer medication, AirPods, battery charger etc. So frustrated I accidentally left a pouch with these things at my seat. I notified a baggage rep immediately and they told me it was too late to get it from the plane and to file a missing contโd
Items report which I promptly did. But itโs been over a week now and they canโt seem to find it even though my AirPods are showing up in FindMy as being at their lost and found office at @EWRairport

How much could a banana possibly cost, Michael?
There are many important products (public goods!) that would improve the world but donโt exist because the commercial motivations arenโt yet sufficient.
Weโre delighted to launch Intercept alongside @AnthropicAI, @TheFluLab, @FoundationOAI, and others, to accelerate the products needed to tackle respiratory infections.
Today we're launching Intercept: a $500M philanthropic initiative to make respiratory infections, like the common cold and flu, a thing of the past.
We treat respiratory infections as a minor nuisance, but thatโs really not the case. Most of us will spend 5% of our lives (!) sick from these viruses, they kill 1M people a year, cost $600B annually in productivity, and periodically threaten civilization through pandemics.
So, if theyโre such a big problem, why havenโt we dealt with them yet? Last year we convened ~40 leading scientists, pharma R&D leaders, biotech investors, and regulatory experts to better understand that.
We heard two main reasons:
(1) First, itโs just technically very challenging: respiratory viruses represent hundreds of distinct, mutating strains across several families. Fortunately, recent breakthroughs make this newly possible.
(2) Second is a lack of funding: broad-spectrum solutions have historically been underfunded, in part because theyโre not a great fit for most philanthropic or commercial funding (and while COVID generated a burst of activity around preventing and understanding respiratory infections through an influx of new funding, that hasn't been sustained).
We think that with enough focus and funding, this might be solvable. Intercept is a $500 million philanthropic initiative that will take advantage of new tools to catalyze the development and deployment of two types of products: broad-spectrum preventatives and air cleaning technologies.
This problem is undoubtedly difficult. But itโs more tractable now than itโs ever been. We think we should give it our best shot.
Weโre enormously grateful to our anchor funders: @stripe, @AnthropicAI, @TheFluLab, @FoundationOAI and individuals from Jane Street.
And, Iโm very excited to be building this with @incredutility and the rest of the team.

More startups are forming today, and fewer are shutting down within their first year. Since the VC winter of 2022, Stripe Atlas incorporations have grown 92% and the one-year shutdown rate has fallen 16 percentage points.

Long post incoming, but I'm desperate at this point and need the internet's help. (For the TLDR, check the replies for links and action items)
So my little sister Chizo has been fighting leukemia for the past 2.5 years. She's been in remission twice, once after a bone marrow transplant from our brother and then again after a CAR-T treatment after another relapse last year. She is now in her third bout of the fight, as the leukemia has returned yet again in December of last year.
She's spent the majority of this year in the hospital and they tried an alternative CAR-T treatment, which did not work this time. Afterwards, the doctors gave her two options: manage her pain and spend time with her family and loved ones until it's time to pass on, or to take a In order to address this third bout, they tried an alternative CAR-T treatment that did not work this time. The doctors gave her two options:
1) Manage her pain and spend the rest of her time here with her family and loved ones
2) Take a life-threatening chemotherapy treatment that can lead to heart/liver failure based on the intensity of it to bridge her to her next treatment, whether it's another CAR-T treatment or a bone marrow transplant if they find a donor.
She's a fighter, so she chose the chemotherapy treatment and is still fighting to this day. So I'm here to ask for y'alls help as she continues this fight.
So yeah - this is out there ๐
Talked with Chen-Chen Huo of @fin_ai and Asya Bradley of @Stripe about why they built this lunch.
Their answer was refreshing: Tech Week is go, go, go, and they wanted to design the event they wish they'd had as founders, complete with space to connect and breathe. #BOSTechWeek

Nice to take a beat and join this founder lunch club by โโ@fin_ai, @Stripe, and @LondonPartners.
No speakers, agenda or programming - just great conversation (and great food!) with founders building in NYC.

We're aware of recent reporting about Delveโs compliance practices. Lovable is not a Delve customer. We proactively moved to Vanta in late 2025, before any of this came to light.
Our SOC 2 Type II was independently audited by Prescient Assurance. Weโre currently undergoing an independent internal audit of our ISMS, recertifying ISO 27001, and have our next SOC 2 Type II scheduled for Q3 2026.
Security is not an afterthought at Lovable. It's a company-wide commitment backed by a dedicated team and continuous investment. Our current compliance practices are all here: trust.lovable.dev/
Stripe CEO Patrick Collison: "Software should be like pizzaโฆ cooked right then and there at the moment of use."
"You donโt want mass-produced industrial scale software. You want bespoke custom software made for you, that moment."
"Up until now, the economics of software have been conceived as fixed cost and then infinitely monetized."
"Once there are inference costs and custom creation involved, it really shifts. Itโs kind of the non-Walrasian software regime."
