⭕️ Jenin journalist Mujahed Al-Saadi, held for 22 months in administrative detention without charge, wrote for Drop Site about life inside Israel's Megiddo prison, where he lost nearly a third of his body weight: “Megiddo prison consists of 10 sections. Each section contains 16 cells, with 10 prisoners held in each cell, in a space no larger than 20 square meters (around 215 square feet). At the end of each cell, there is a single bathroom shared by the 10 prisoners. I was taken into one of the cells and thrown onto the floor. I spent the first night without a mattress or a blanket. A day later, I was given a thin mattress that reeked—it was probably more than 10 years old. This was how the ritual of abuse and torture began, with prisoners deprived of even their most basic rights. There was hardly any food given to us. The morning meal consisted of no more than 50 grams of yogurt, a few small pieces of cucumber or tomato, and three slices of bread. Meals like this were distributed to all the prisoners. This was the first thing I was given to eat in the 48 hours since my arrest. Lunch consisted of no more than 30 grams of rice and around 50 grams of legumes, such as chickpeas. The food was served cold. Dinner was just as meager: no more than one egg, 10 grams of hummus, and a few slices of bell pepper. I weighed 89 kilograms when I was arrested and 59 kilograms when I was released—I lost nearly a third of my weight during my imprisonment. Since October 7, 2023, the occupation has both reduced the amount of food provided to prisoners and shut down the “cantina,” or “market,” inside each prison section where detainees used to be able to buy personal hygiene products as well as some food and canned goods they could take into the kitchen and prepare themselves. Some prisoners would save their breakfast, lunch, and dinner and eat all three together as a single meal—just so they could feel full. An adult male typically needs between 1,500 and 2,000 calories a day, but the three meals we were given amounted to no more than 5% of that. And that’s not to mention the poor quality of the food. Personal hygiene items were also taken away or withheld from us, including toothbrushes, razors, and nail clippers, along with other basic personal cleaning supplies. My first shower was a full 15 days after my arrest, when I received my first 30-gram packet of shampoo. We would receive just one shampoo packet per week for bathing or any other use. Deprivation of basic hygiene products led to some 95% of prisoners contracting scabies, a skin condition that spread because of poor hygiene, a severe shortage of cleaning supplies, and a lack of clothing. The shortage of clothes was so severe that prisoners were often forced to share. Scabies is so pervasive and persists for so long in prison, that some prisoners have attempted suicide because of it. Symptoms include rashes that appear all over the body and on sensitive areas, accompanied by constant, distressing itching that prevents prisoners from sleeping or resting. Boils develop that discharge infected blood. Prisoners have also been martyred as a result of systematic medical neglect. One prisoner developed boils on his body near his heart—they burst, causing internal bleeding and infection inside his body.” 🔗 Read his full account linked below. 📸 1: Mujahed Al-Saadi reporting from Jenin on June 5, 2024. 2:Mujahed Al-Saadi with colleagues in Jenin on April 22, 2024. 🇵🇸 At least 92 Palestinians have died in Israeli torture prisons and military detention camps over the three years since the genocide began, according to a new report from the Palestinian Prisoners' Society and the Commission of Detainees' Affairs. That count covers only those whose identities have been confirmed. The fate of dozens more detainees from Gaza remains unknown due to enforced disappearance. The report documents an escalating system of arrest, torture, starvation and denial of medical care that has led to killings inside prisons and camps. It also found:
➤ More than 26,000 arrests in the West Bank, including Jerusalem
➤ More than 800 women and 2,000 children arrested
➤ More than 3,100 Palestinians held in administrative detention without charge or trial, and 1,419 held as "unlawful combatants"
➤ Israel is holding the bodies of 100 Palestinians who died in custody The groups also pointed to Israel's approval of a law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, and to the growing use of "incitement" charges to arrest Palestinians over their speech, which they say has created a climate of fear and self-censorship. With no independent oversight and the Red Cross still barred from visiting prisoners, the report says what is happening inside Israel's prisons "cannot be separated from the genocide." 🔗 Palestinian journalist Mujahed Al-Saadi documented his harrowing experience in Israeli detention two years after being arrested from his home in Jenin for Drop Site. Mansouri, Lebanon is being reduced to absolute rubble. Here is today’s latest demolition by Israeli forces. Genocide is defined under Article Il of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention as any act committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. One of the five acts is “deliberately imposing destructive life conditions.” More than 65 towns and villages in Lebanon are still under Israeli occupation and are undergoing daily illegal civilian home and infrastructure demolitions.
Here’s my view of Mansouri from the ground. Israel has been systematically destroying towns and villages in Lebanon. This is an act of genocide. Israel beheaded a Palestinian journalist in Gaza today:
🚨BREAKING: Palestinian journalist Mohammed Al-Najjar was killed today in Khan Younis after an Israeli strike hit his hometown of Khuza’a, south of Gaza Strip. He leaves behind three children who were waiting for their father to return. They were denied even a final farewell after his body was returned to his family without his head.

Ten years ago, French journalist Anne-Laure Bonnel shot a documentary called DONBASS. She spoke to locals who described to her all the atrocities that Kiev forces commit against them for the sake of the appetites of their Western handlers. Now, it’s trending on X. How long it took.

Israeli Lt. Col. Golan Vach admitted that his tanks killed at least 19 Israelis—including 8 children—in a single strike on October 7 . If you show this video in Israel, you could be sentenced to five years in prison.

This is the new senior vice president of Palantir UK. But did you know that Tom Watson received ELEVEN separate donations from a prominent pro-Israeli lobbyist? I’ve been examining the financial records of the Labour Party peer. Here’s what I found:🧵

These dollar notes were found in the house of a Zelensky friend. They have not been collected as part of systemic corruption. They came directly from the US. Can you see the original production stickers on the bundles? ATLANTA, MINN, KAN CITY … The bundles were shipped in this form by the US government. The Ukrainians did not even open the bundles. They immediately passed them on to friends.

Not the American people. The system is not broken. It's working exactly as designed. For Israel.

I don’t know if anyone still cares about what I say, but what is happening here has become a catastrophe in every sense of the word. Today was the first day of school for students in Gaza City after three years of war. It was supposed to be a day filled with joy, with children carrying their schoolbags, wearing new clothes, and returning to their classrooms. But the reality was completely different. I saw children without schoolbags, without shoes, without notebooks or pens, and some wearing worn-out clothes. I saw a school that was nothing more than a suffocating, extremely hot tent, without desks or chairs. The children use stones and cardboard boxes from aid supplies to create something to write on. There are no bathrooms for the children. There is not enough food or water. This is not simply a shortage of school supplies; this is a catastrophe affecting an entire generation. A child who is supposed to go to school to learn leaves school to stand in line for water, then waits in another line for food. Their lives have become a constant struggle to find water, food, and simply survive. How can a child learn under these conditions? How can we talk about the future of these children when the most basic necessities for education and life are not available? We are facing an entire generation at risk of being lost. Every day that passes without real intervention means another part of these children’s future is being lost. This is a catastrophe that cannot be allowed to pass in silence. Write about the children of Gaza, talk about their schools, and share what is happening to them. Do not let the world become accustomed to seeing children without a childhood.

"Lo que más me dolió en Gaza es ver como niños necesitan amputaciones e Israel bloquea la entrada de anestesia y medicamentos, por lo que tienes que amputar el brazo a un niño sin anestesia, entonces estás rezando para que se desmaye del dolor y no lo hace". Mark Perlmutter, cirujano humanitario en Gaza, recuerda el infierno de sufrimiento de los niños palestinos durante el genocidio sionista de "Israel".
