Prof. Samar Guha, originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, but migrated to West Bengal, India, was a Prof. of Chemistry in Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India, and a freedom fighter, a leader of a political party in India writes,
“Dacca (Dhaka) was especially famous for its temple and Hindu festivals. To Vaishnavas , Dacca was second “Vrindavan” . A small city like Dacca contained as many as 700 Vaishnava Temples, along with many “Kali Temples” and some Gurudwaras. Some of these temples were established during the days of the Pathans and Mughals. Many of these temples have been destroyed, defiled or looted during February of 1950. Some 26 important temples, including well know Tokani Pal’s temple, Madan Gopalji, Hayagaribaji, Shamrajji, Gopinathji, Kalachandji, Balaramji and other temples were still under Muslim occupation. People of East Bengal were overwhelmingly Vaishnavas . They could pursue their religious life, various Vaishnava rituals, ceremonies and festivals, unhindered even during the days of Pathan and Mughals rules. But tree years of Pakistan have made them so much terrorized, that while migrating to the Indian Union they have taken away with them 90 p.c. Of their “Vigrahas” and deities. Innumerable Hindu temples are still lying empty and vacant in the city of Dhaka. Janmastami michil (procession), Ratha Yatra were some of the very old religious festivals of Vaishnavas of Dhaka. Janmastami michil was nearly 300 years old in its origin. Every year, on the occasion the michil, consisting of two grand religious processions of Hindus, several lakhs of people were seen assembling in Dacca from various parts of East Bengal. But his Janmashtami micchil had to be abandoned in the very first year of Pak-rule in East Bengal. In older days large number of Muslims of the city used to cooperate and participate actively in this micchil but the hostile attitude of the Muslims today compelled the Hindus to give up their century’s old religious custom. Every year, Hindu localities of Dacca would have been humming in music, Yatras (local operas depicting stories from Hindu epics and Puranas, or myths), dances, Kirtans along with spectacular display of illumination during Jhulan Yatra festivals but this year Jhulan Yatra passes off almost without any notice at all. Rathayatra as another special festival of Dacca Hindus. Nearly 45 Rathas or chariots used to come out in the streets of the city. But this year no Rathyatra was observed except in the village of Dhamrai situated 20 miles away from Dacca.
This in a nutshell is the factual position of non-Muslims in Dacca a city which contained 58.5 p.c. Hindu population and whose predominance was manifest in every aspect of the city life before partition”(Non Muslims Behind the Curtain of East Pakistan, Prof. Samar Guha, archive.org/stream/dli.benga…).
In 1949 the famous Dhamrai Rathyatra and Janmastami procession was banned by the Government of Pakistan. In 1949 the entire Dhaka area the Hindus were told that they cannot celebrate the Durga Puja , the biggest festival of the Bengali Hindus. As a result, the celebrations and number of Durga Puja were curtailed. During the Vijaya Dasham, the last day of the Durga Puja, when women smear each other with vermilion, give sweets, and greet each other and then the idol is immersed. Athis time, hundreds of Hindu homes were set on fire by the Muslims. As a result, at least 750 Hindu families were homeless. On November 25, 1949, Santosh Kumar Chattopadhyaya, a Hindu, of the Press Trust of India, who was traveling to East Pakistan with valid documents to report was apprehended by the Pakistani police without warrant and kept imprisoned for a month.

It is very notable, how American techies want to help these scumbag “protesters”.
Jack Dorsey is pushing BitChat, to enable these rabid mobs to organize even when mobile networks are jammed and disrupted by Indian police and security forces. Elon Musk wants to open the avenue of Starlink to give these toxic mobs internet access at his personal will, defying India’s government and security considerations. Meanwhile, Instagram and X are being flooded with propaganda to brainwash more of the youth.
These are not accidents or coincidences, it is a deliberate design. It is a full-scale information war.
I call upon my fellow Indian tech entrepreneurs, investors and executives - speak out against these god-complexed madmen, whom many regard as icons to emulate, because they are out to balkanize and destroy India by all means possible.
These fanatic tech elites would be quite happy to reduce India into a Pakistan-type mistress to be used and abused at will - a market to be exploited and a human resource pool to be consumed. They have no humanitarian consideration or cultural regard whatsoever for your society, way of life and civilization.
I also call upon @DelhiPolice to use the full force of law, and take on these street thugs portraying themselves as “youth”, who are trying to effectively capture and immobilize Delhi - rain blows on them, smash their bones if required. Cripple them permanently if they take to violence - no mercy. @HMOIndia
57 metro stations being shut, trains being cancelled, internet shutdown, and deployment of forces are not precautionary measures. It’s state action based on credible intelligence inputs.
You are told that these are harmless students. They are not. Students don’t pelt stones at the police, harass media personnel, or indulge in arson. All of which happened during the previous protest, earlier this year.
They are being commanded by a party which has a 40 per cent vote share in Delhi, even in defeat. They are fighting to retain power in another state, or else it’s an existential crisis for them.
There is a precedent for this. This was attempted in late 2020, and it was successful. Middlemen masquerading as innocent farmers illegally occupied a national highway for months. Everyone was a spectator, from the SC to the Government.
I guess that they want to attempt a blockade again, this time far closer to the Parliament, and one that goes on for a few months, at least until the Uttar Pradesh elections. The government did not pick up hints from the GT Road, running from Punjab to Delhi, then, but they were ready in February 2024, and they are ready now.
Congress would encourage this, since it gives them a reason to stall the functioning of both the Houses. Regional parties get the perception battle victory, especially in UP and Punjab. Low-IQ, gullible guinea pigs will consume whatever crap they are served by the Meta algorithm.
Violence, blockade, and holding the state hostage. That’s the trick they want to deploy. Beyond the pretence on studios, they realise the BJP’s political capital is at its peak, so this is the only way to get them out of power, or at least they believe this. Congress is hoping to gain nationally from the perception, while its evil offset focuses on Delhi.
It’s officially the protest season now, and two days of state-mandated shutdown is better than weeks of blockade, given the festival season ahead of us. It’s not ideal, but on some days, you have to be honest about the excesses of democracy. This is one of those days.
57 metro stations, if you map them, tell you a story. About how the crowd is being gathered, from where, and for what purpose.
The writing is on the wall. The media refused to read it in 2021 and 2024, and they won’t read it in 2026, but the state must. Even the SC realises some bit of the threat, going by the proceedings today.
We can’t have Delhi being held hostage again. No. Full support to Delhi Police.

Long ago, everything on this planet was free.
And into that world, we were born.
Food was free.
Water was free.
Shelter was free.
The climate was free.
Community was free.
Then, somewhere along the way, someone had a brilliant idea.
What if survival itself had a price?
And slowly, everything changed.
Land became property.
Water became a utility.
Food became an industry.
Shelter became an investment.
Community became a marketplace.
And human beings became customers.
Customers of the very planet they were born on.
But the story doesn't end there.
Now, even nature has entered the balance sheet.
A tree has a monetary value.
A forest has a carbon value.
Emissions have become tradable credits.
We are living in a world where existence comes with a bill.
First, they priced our necessities.
Then, they monetised our dependencies.
And now, even nature is becoming an asset.
And who controls these assets?
Who decides who gets access?
Who determines how much is enough?
The next chapter is even more disturbing.
Transhumanism.
We are no longer discussing how to change the world around us.
We are discussing how to change the human being itself.
Our bodies.
Our intelligence.
Our consciousness.
Our very identity.
Imagine a future where being naturally human is considered a limitation.
Where technological upgrades become necessities.
And where those who control the technology may also control what it means to be human.
Is that evolution?
Or the final stage of Kaliyuga?
Where exactly is humanity heading?
Unfortunately, Western civilisational model didn't liberate us.
It converted our struggle into a monthly payment.
Somewhere towards building this Country, we forgot our roots.
We forgot that we belonged to nature long before we belonged to an economy.
The next decade will reveal how far humanity is willing to destroy itself.
The frightening part?
We might even celebrate it as advancement.

In India too, Indian Express carried a news of internal dissent in the Election Commission.
In Bangladesh, public anger was fueled and the Gen Z was called to join the protests and overthrow the Sheikh Hasina government.
In India too, the CJP and the Dimagi Naxals are planning a massive protest in October.

Savarkar's Views on Ambedkar 👇
1. Savarkar opposed Ambedkar's unidirectional attack on high caste hindus & pointed out that problem of discrimination & untouchability exists even in dalit castes. He always maintained that "the responsibility of abolishing untouchability can't lie on the shoulders of only high caste-hindus".
2. Savarkar said:
"Dr. Ambedkar has been cursing the high castes for believing in the hierarchy of caste according to birth. But he conveniently forgets that people of his own caste also believe it the same doctrine & treat bhangis as untouchables. Nearly 900 miles away Ezuas also do the same to pariahs. It is no good cursing the high castes. People of all castes are guilty of the same beliefs & behavior."
3. Unlike Ambedkar, Savarkar said the responsibility of abolishing untouchability lies on everyone & not just UC hindus.

Below is Jayasree's note! It looks like a snapshot of my own older speculations 15 years ago:-
"..the names Somali, Malawi (in Africa), and Mala-dvīpa (Maldives) could have any connection with the names Sumāli, Malyavān and Māli."
She is connecting Malyavat, Mali and Sumali with Africa & Somalia exactly like I speculated in the past. 🙂
But thankfully, I moved away from such bizzare speculative writing to real and irrefutable geography in the Itihāsas.
The mountain "Malyavat" is an alternate name of Vindhya especially applied to its northern branch - close to Yamuna.
How do we know that?
A river originating from Malyavat mountains is named "Malyavati".
Its alternative name is "Mandakini".
It is the river flowing past Chitrakuta!
The mountain adjacent to Malyavat is Shuktimat.
Correspondingly, the river originating from Shuktimat is called Shuktimati.
This was the river of Chedi Janapada. It joined Yamuna.
Chedi capital Shuktimati city was located on its banks.
You can verify these facts.
"Rakshasa Malyavat" got his name from this Malyavat mountain.
This mountain was in the migratory trail of Rakshasas who migrated from Ganga / Yamuna basin to Narmada basin.
This is why we see the mention of Malyavat, Mali and Sumali marrying the "daughters of Narmada."
Yes, Ramayana mentions it cryptically as "daughters of Gandharvi Narmada."
Agreed.
But that is how the Itihāsas subtly encoded ancient migrations!
For example, Mahabharata mentions river Ganga first proposing to Pradipa and later his son Santanu marrying river Ganga!
How can a river propose to a father first and then marry his son? How can a river marry people?
Without decoding, the whole account appear as very strange!
But, once decoded, we get this is describing a migration!
Pradipa moved from Kurukṣetra where his ancestor Kuru ruled, towards Ganga but settled mid way at Varanavati between Yamuna & Ganga.
His son Santanu firmly settled along Ganga at Hastinapura!
This is how we decode it.
Similarly the Rakshasas migrated from Yamuna through Malyavat/ Vindhya to Narmada. Then they settled at Lanka in the mouth of Narmada.
This is why Ravana's enemies were along or near Narmada:-
Kartavirya Arjuna at Mahishmati along Narmada. Vanara Vali north of Narmada & Vindhya at Kishkindha.
This is why Jambavan, Maya, Mandodari, Ravana - all have places connected to them in MP, Gujarat, Rajasthan and UP.
"Vishwakarma", is a term of the Harappan engineers. They built the Lanka city.
Same term is applied to Dvaraka = Dholavira another Harappan seaport - built by Vishwakarma!
That is why we say Lanka is the Harappan seaport Bhagatrav in the Narmada mouth.
Nala the son of Vishwakarma built the north to south bridge towards Lanka. This means, Nala possessed the same Harappan engineering skills.
Below map from Geography of Ramayana related to the Pulastya Rakshasas. Gandharvas & Rakshasas co-habited along Narmada.

In the late 4th century CE, Chandragupta II (Vikramaditya) of the Gupta dynasty ordered the construction of a massive iron standard, what we today know as the Iron Pillar of Delhi.
Chandragupta II did not plant this 6 ton monolith in Delhi. He originally placed it at a site called Vishnupadagiri (modern day Udayagiri in Madhya Pradesh). It was later moved to Delhi, possibly in the 11th-13th centuries
He chose this location because Udayagiri sits precisely on the Tropic of Cancer. His royal astronomers engineered the 23 foot iron shaft so that on the exact morning of the Summer Solstice, its early morning shadow fell directly onto the feet of a massive rock cut deity of Anantasayana Vishnu.
At the time, the Gupta Empire was engaged in a brutal, decades long war against the Western Kshatrapas (Sakas), a foreign Saka dynasty that had controlled Gujarat and Malwa for nearly 300 yrs, choking off India’s lucrative maritime trade routes to the Mediterranean.
Chandragupta II marched his army to Udayagiri, carved out a massive cave complex, and forged a 6 ton rust proof wrought iron pillar. He placed it at the geographical line defining the northernmost point where the sun sits directly overhead (the Tropic of Cancer).
The message to the Sakas and the surrounding foreign kingdoms was brutal:
- We can forge high-purity, rust-proof iron at a scale your metallurgists cannot fathom.
- Our scholars command the celestial mechanics of the solstice.
- This pillar marks the precise geographical spine of Aryavarta. Beyond this line, you do not cross.
Shortly after completing this astronomical and metallurgical display, Chandragupta II launched his final offensive, annihilated the Saka dynasty, annexed Western India, and took the title Vikramaditya.
This ancient event mirrors modern Indian strategic posture.
The pillar was a Vishnu Dhvaja (a religious standard), but it operated as an astronomical tool and a metallurgical marvel. In ancient Bharat, Dharma was never separated from empirical science, mathematics, and defense, they were integrated expressions of the same civilization.
Just as Vikramaditya reclaimed the Western trade corridors from foreign hegemony by combining scientific mastery with military will, modern India's push for indigenous deeptech (space tech, defense manufacturing, semiconductor sovereignty) is the return to an ancient, established playbook.
