People at meetups don't use twitter anymore and look at me funny when I suggest they reach me that way. LinkedIn is ascendant.
I think its specifically, you cannot DM someone who doesnt follow you, unless you are verified. So bc you followed me, I can DM you now

Too many talks to name! In particular from a recent WiT event:

- working in tech + experiencing menopause

The topics tend to be intersectional.
I've been to several women centered trans inclusive tech events and I've really valued those spaces. Having career switched to tech in the past 2 years, it's been a great way to get to know people in my local tech community. I think it's important to have them.
I wonder if we are currently living in “peak social media” and will see a flatline/decline from here.
Both as the impact of too much of it is more clear to everyone. Plus how GenAI tools going mainstream makes us lose trust in accounts we don’t personally know (“is it an AI?”)
