I also think that it’s hard for the author to sum up 25 years of history between Hayffie only in the epilogue. SOTR truly is only meant to be Haymitch’s back story. Haydove may be canon in SOTR, but it is also canon that Hayffie spent the next 25 years and grew a family together.
