#CyberAwarenessTodayCyberSafetyTomorrow #10AssamBnNCC, Dibrugarh, under the aegis of NCC Gp HQ Dibrugarh, organised a series of Lectures and Demonstrations on Cyber Awareness, Cyber Security Measures, Cyber Safety and Cyber Defence Mechanisms at the DHSK College Auditorium. The programme marked the culmination of activities under the #RashtriyaSurakshaProtsahanYojana and aimed to sensitise NCC cadets towards emerging cyber threats and promote responsible digital citizenship. The occasion was graced by @Dr_SashiKantaSaikia, Principal, DHSK College. #Insp_RajashreeBorgohain, In-charge, Cyber OPs, along with her team, conducted an informative session highlighting the latest modus operandi adopted by cybercriminals and essential precautions to safeguard against online frauds. An expert lecture on Cyber Security and Safety Measures was delivered by #Prof_VivekTalukdar, Department of Computer Science, DHSK College, who enlightened the participants on various cyber threats, preventive measures and safe practices in the digital environment. The programme featured sessions on self-defence, first aid and contemporary security-related issues, along with essay writing and debate competitions to encourage critical thinking and awareness among the youth. The Civil Defence sessions were conducted by #ShriEshanulSofi, Asst Dy Controller (Sr), Civil Defence, Dibrugarh, along with Civil Defence volunteers #ShriAbhishekPaul, #ShriSankeetDey and #ShriKalyanTalukdar. #CATC152, organised by #26AssamBnNCC at JNV Rangajan from 22 October to 31 October 2026, continued successfully on Day 2 with a series of training and developmental activities. The total camp strength as on 23 October 2026 comprised 489 cadets, including 29 cadets from #63AssamBnNCC, along with the camp staff and other personnel. The day commenced with Physical Training (PT), followed by the opening address by the Camp Commandant and drill practice. The highlight of the day was the visit of the #OfficiatingGroupCommander, Dibrugarh Group, who was accorded a #GuardofHonour and delivered a motivational and inspirational address to the cadets. During the visit, the Officiating Group Commander inspected the MI Room, cadet's living areas, Cook House, Dining Hall, and Firing Simulator Room, and interacted with PI Staff, ANOs, CTOs, and GCIs. The visit concluded with a group photograph with the cadets and staff. Other activities conducted during the day included map reading, weapon handling, FC/BC, games and sports, cultural programme practice, and roll call. #72AssamGirlsICoy NCC, under NCC Group HQ Dibrugarh, coordinated the #ArmyAttachmentCamp at Lekhapani, Assam, with support from #SpearCorps. The 12-day camp provided NCC cadets with first-hand exposure to military training, equipment displays, and the roles of Artillery, Army Aviation and the Indian Air Force. Educational visits and cultural activities further enriched their experience, fostering discipline, leadership, confidence and camaraderie. The #WhiteWaterRaftingCamp (19–22 October 2026) successfully completed its Day 2 activities with a focus on adventure, teamwork, and skill development. The day’s highlights included 10 km of white water rafting, during which participants practised essential rafting commands, followed by @body_surfing, @jump_out practice, and a @100_metre_swimming test to enhance water confidence and swimming skills. A weapon and equipment display was also organised to familiarise participants with the various weapons and essential equipment. 🌊 #ADVENTUREINNER! 🛶 The White Water Rafting Camp at Aalo (Along), #ArunachalPradesh, scheduled from 19–22 October 2026, was flagged off today for 20 NCC Cadets from the North Eastern Region (NER) and West Bengal & Sikkim (WB&S). The camp commenced with an opening address by the OIC Node, #CaptBikramSingh of 13 Garhwal Rifles. The cadets underwent intensive theoretical and practical training sessions covering rafting commands, dry practice, rafting techniques, safety rules, precautions, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Military Hospital Attachment for NCC Cadets at Dinjan, Assam. A 10-day Military Hospital Attachment was conducted at #MilitaryHospitalDinjan, Assam, for 40 NCC cadets, comprising 35 cadets from #46AssamMedicalCompanyNCC and 5 cadets from #63AssamBattalionNCC, with the aim of fostering a spirit of service, discipline and preparedness among the youth. Under expert supervision, the cadets received hands-on training in triage, casualty management, first aid and emergency medical response. They also actively participated in the validation of the raising of 100 Crisis Expansion Beds, gaining valuable insights into the Indian Army’s medical support system and its preparedness for mass-casualty situations.
