1.5.2 A refugee is someone who seeks refuge in a foreign country by respecting their laws and asking permission to enter. An illegal immigrant enters unannounced with no regard for the law.
1.5.3 How did John get into the country? The question doesn't establish that and asks us to make assumptions. So if we were to assume, based on how it generally happens, then John is an illegal immigrant.

In an interview with Visegrad24, the counter-terrorism expert @HarasRafiq stated that the Muslim Brotherhood has a 100-year plan for taking over the world.
“The Project” is a 14-page document written in 1982 which was seized in a Swiss police raid in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks.
The Swiss authorities got their hands on it during a raid on the villa of Youssef Nada near Lugano and related premises of Al-Taqwa Bank, which he directed. Nada was a prominent international figure associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
The document outlines a 12-point global strategy for political Islam, aimed at establishing Islamic governance worldwide.
It emphasizes long-term, gradual, multi-generational institutional embedding known as the Tamkeen strategy.
The document stresses the need to work within Western legal systems, build parallel institutions, infiltrate existing ones, supporting education, fundraising, intelligence-gathering and building temporary alliances on shared issues such as anti-colonialism or the Palestine while supporting jihadist efforts where opportune.
Mr. Rafiq also warns that the Muslim Brotherhood is working from the shadows, with very little attention having been put internationally on the person he considers the most dangerous Islamist alive, the Qatar-based Libyan Secretary-General of the Islamic Union of Scholars, Sheikh Ali Muhammad al-Sallabi.

Maybe back then they were not racists but realists: logical, analytical people who were not emotional in their predictions.
Their predictions were accurate because they weren't predicting what felt good. They were predicting what was likely to happen.
When a society treats honest warnings as insults, it loses the chance to fix problems before they become crises.
When the ANC assumed power in 1994, they inherited the most sophisticated economic engine on the African continent.
They were handed a deep-water port network, a highly complex rail system that efficiently moved freight from the interior to the coast, an integrated national power grid that generated some of the cheapest electricity in the world, and a professional, rule-bound civil service.
That system possessed underlying engineering and administrative principles that were globally competitive.
The historical task of the new government was simple: maintain the existing engineering standards, scale the capacity to include the black majority, and expand the productive tax base.
Instead, the ANC executed a 30 year masterclass in structural vandalism.
They introduced cadre deployment, incompetence, corruption, and political impunity, systematically replacing competent engineers, financial auditors, and institutional administrators with politically loyal party hacks.
The results are not ideological; they are physical.
It takes centuries of capital accumulation, spatial planning, and disciplined maintenance to build an interconnected civilization, but it takes only a few decades of deliberate neglect to destroy it.

The ultimate tragedy is that the liberation movement successfully decoupled its survival from the material reality of the country.
The ANC did not "decolonize" South Africa; they simply consumed its foundational capital.
They proved that an elite equipped with nothing but liberation slogans and an insatiable appetite for state contracts can liquidate 300 years of built infrastructure in just three decades, leaving the next generation to inherit a broken, unmanageable corpse.

🚨 BREAKING: Alabama prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for all eight people charged in the torture and execution of 20-year-old Mahogany Jackson in Birmingham.
Jackson was handcuffed, stripped, and subjected to hours of abuse that the suspects filmed. She texted family early on February 25 that she was being held hostage. Video later showed her being stomped on, spit on, dragged naked by her hair toward a car trunk, and forced to perform sex acts at gunpoint.
She was shot in the back of the head and her body dumped at a site known locally as “Dead Man’s Road.”
The eight indicted on capital murder, kidnapping, and sodomy: Giovonnie Clapp, Blair Green, Teja Lewis, Si’Niya McCall, Airana Robinson, Brandon Pope, Francis Harris, and Jeremiah McDowell.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

A major political scandal erupted in Berlin after staff of Elif Eralp, the Left party’s candidate for governing mayor, accidentally sent journalists a document in which she admitted fearing for her family’s safety because of people in her own party with links to Palestinian radical organizations.
The day before the letter, the party invited well-known pro-Palestinian activist Ibrahim Ibrahim to a party event. He has been linked to support for the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
One of the party's MPs, Ferat Kocak, was pictured with Ibrahim Ibrahim.
CDU representatives have now demanded that the Left’s potential coalition partners, the SPD and the Greens, reconsider plans to form a joint government, saying they are no longer sure how the Left will form a government if they themselves fear an “Islamist environment in their own party.”
The head of Berlin’s Neukölln district said the situation shows how deeply supporters of antisemitic and terrorist organizations can be connected to the Left party.

SASSA has revealed that an estimated R1.27 billion in social grants was paid out to foreign nationals.
Government: "That is less than 1% of South Africa’s Social Assistance budget."
South Africans: It's 1% too much considering unemployment, housing and infrastructure.

Dear Rebecca Davis (@becsplanb), I watched your video on the Daily Maverick's YouTube channel. The one in which you spend 15 minutes circling around the idea that Lex Libertas has links to crazy right wing groups from the 1980s and 1990s without ever asserting it.
It reminded me of the MSNBC stories suggesting that Donald Trump must be a Nazi, because he spoke at Madison Square Garden, and there were Nazis at Madison Square Garden in 1939.
You should know that I genuinely burst out laughing when I heard you say that when we say that there is wisdom to be found in the past, even though the past is not a destination, it's (according to you) impossible to interpret that in any other way as an endorsement of apartheid. You then make it clear that your viewers should consider me as a racist despite the fact that (as you concede very explicitly) there is no evidence of any racism.
I suppose you never considered just how shallow that type of reasoning is. It comes across as particularly desperate to make a political point in the absence of evidence.
You reached out to me directly on October 8, asking if I'd be willing to agree to an interview. I agreed, and suggested dates, but you never responded. And so you continued with this skit without asking for comment and without reporting on the other side of the story. That's perfectly predictable behaviour for a political activist, but extremely unprofessional for a journalist.
