It's been a long time coming...
I'm super excited to announce the CCHP's local measurement of the Hubble constant via the JAGB method, a standard candle I have been developing during graduate school. We find H0 = 67.96 +/- 1.85 km/s/Mpc.

Brown would rather arrest its own students than merely *consider* the prospect of divestment.
Decades from now, they will talk about their “brave students” and their “culture of campus activism”. But first, they will turn the school into a prison.
President Paxson P’19 P’MD’20 reaffirmed the University’s plans to pursue charges for the 41 Brown students who were arrested in a Dec. 11 sit-in.

Please read this fantastic paper led by @davidjsetton on unpacking the physics of a quiescent galaxy at redshift 4 (I helped in the discovery and building up it's candidacy). David's detailed analysis conclusively shows a dead galaxy with a dusty core in the early Universe!
A new paper from the UNCOVER team hit the arxiv led by me and including @isskywalker, @astrowhit, and @jacqdanso! In the pursuit of the constraints on early universe galaxy formation, we followed up on a candidate old massive galaxy at z~4 with NIRSpec: ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/20…
