Once upon a time, I found myself desperately needing a new job. Searching and applying for jobs was incredibly challenging and overwhelming. I don't want anyone to go through the same troubles, so I created a community t.me/+morJTyA5-HNkZDk0 1/3

Eureka Studios is now part of NVIDIA Inception. 💚 A month ago, Danfo Run was a game about Lagos traffic. Now we’re a studio building original games. This one means a lot. #NVIDIAInception

A last roll of the dice 🎲 The absolute most stressful and worst part of organising #OyaMakeWeGroove is getting a venue. No matter how early I plan, something goes wrong. 2 years ago, I was sure to use the then almost to be completed Sporting Lagos facility. The owners of Nigeria said "not this time". Last year, our venue was revoked Wednesday before the Saturday. In one day, my man Adedeji (e no dey ever like acknowledgement) worked magic and pulled all favors to get Access Bank to give us their car park In Oniru as an *exceptional* one time favor. Approval came after work hours On Friday for a Saturday event. I'm forever grateful 🙏🏾. As a result of that experience, I finalized the venue for this year, last December. I visited it with the person in April. When it was time to activate in September, akụkọ entered. Stories. Venue no dey available again. By then, the very few manageable places have mostly been booked. My team has frankly, looked everywhere. - In a throw of the last dice, I'm here to make a public request: If you know or have access to a space that can fit 500-1000 people in VI, Ikoyi or Lekk, please holla. If against the odds I can see a bar with a large outdoor space, that's would be wonderful. Open fields (we dey call am garden) can work. Carparks too. Please DM, drop a comment or send me a message. It would be an irony if I could manage to keep this on during the COVID years, living 7,000 kms away from Laogs, but fail at a simple huddle. Getting a venue. Or maybe it is the clearest signal to force my coconut head to bring this to a conclusion, and begin owning my Decembers for the first time since 2016😁. Either way, I'm making this final push 🙏🏾 Thank you.

You will dig deeper, big papa, with time, no worry yourself Rwanda went through a genocide, losing 10-15% of its population, just 32 years ago. In addition to this, many women were raped deliberately to infect them with HIV. 250k-300k women were raped, and at least 62,000 women were infected (many of their children alsp got infected). This is the context in which Rwanda has (and continues to) rebuild. Life expectancy in Rwanda is better than ours (they live around 15 more years). They have a better HDI (on a similar GDP per capita). The reason people bring up MRI machines is as a contributing factor to overall health outcomes, not as a measure of overall healthcare For you to even be comparing Nigeria to Rwanda, and losing on all socio economic indicators and indexes, should be of personal shame to you and should make you reconsider your view on corruption
Rwanda is ranked the 3rd least corrupt country in Africa, yet it has only 5 MRI machines while very corrupt Lagos has 14. This shows that investors consider other factors, not just corruption, before investing.

Government should have fully removed electricity subsidy first on day one. We barely have light, so its impact would have been minimal Then remove fuel subsidy by 25% on day one and across 4 years. Would have saved us from the overnight inflation & whatnot

He knew exactly what he was doing when he was campaigning for President. He has all the answers! allow him perform the magic he said he will perform.
So because Tinubu promised to perform magic in his campaign, we should abandon all logical thinking on how to solve the economic problems ?

For a while after the 2020 Paystack exit, when someone asked "Oo, how are you doing?" My response was "We thank God, we thank Shola 😅🙌🏾". My G @shollsman raised less than $10M and exited the *full capable* $200M+ in < 5 years. Mental!

So, you want education subsidies to be removed completely so that universities fees can be cost-reflective Let’s say it now cost ₦2million per session to study English in Unilag How many people can afford this?? Don’t you see that this is a disaster waiting to happen?

Best thing I’ve read since President Bola Tinubu came into power. Should have started with this from day one. But better late than never!

Nigerian politicians don't even blame population growth/size during campaigns for offices. they sometimes diagnose the problem well but do a u-turn once they get into power. it's always analysts and followers who blame population growth/size, and i find it amusing 😁

just before oil discovery, Nigeria and Brazil were agrarian and had almost same population. Brazil used oil build a highly diversified industrial & agricultural powerhouse, while Nigeria did "nothing". Today, educated Nigerians are saying population is our problem 😭😭

This example is even incomplete… you needed to add “without any renovation to the apartment, Infact the borehole doesn’t work, the gutter/septic tank is clogged and the power supply to the area is next to nothing”. That captures the situation more accurately.
